BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - The Coast Guard in Boston confirmed that a woman in uniform was harassed and spat upon by Occupy Boston protesters.
The woman was walking to the train and said protesters spit on her twice, called her foul names and even threw a water bottle at her.
Now, the Coast Guard is warning all staff working on Atlantic Avenue to avoid those protesters while in uniform.

Defining and dehumanizing the enemy is what this is about,
and it is typical fascist methodology.It does not matter how innocuous and cute Pendleton appears, just picture her in a 3rd Reich uniform with the Nazi eagle on the front of her officers cap.
After the defining of the enemy and the dehumanizing of the enemy, then comes the stalking and killing as promised by Pendleton. It is the progression of fascism exhibited throughout its history. You're right - the percentage of adults in our population is much higher than in the 60's and adults tire of this kind of stuff.
Spitting, pooping on police cars, chanting 'we can have sex with animals' ... wears thin faster when adults outnumber idiots - err I mean 'protesters'...
You want to ‘get’ them - laugh at them. Use their ‘chants’ against them. Make them the joke they are.. These folks would love blood in the streets - what they don’t want is to be dismissed. Dismiss them.

I'll concede to Pelosi that on average the demonstrators are younger than the general adult population, but not all of them are young.
The demonstrations are just the opposite of "spontaneous" (many organized pro-Obama groups such as SEIU and Adbusters are involved, and recall that the New York Occupy Wall Street event had been announced for a specific date and place weeks before).
As for "focused," listening to interviews with demonstrators suggests that they have little in the way of a common agenda. They are more focused on debauchery than message.
And the only way in which they are going to be "effective" is in alienating the general public from the incumbent administration and incumbent party, much as the Chicago demonstration and riot at near 1968 Democratic Convention did. As usual, Democrats like Pelosi seem to be oblivious to history.

But there are these major differences:
(1) The 1960s anti-war Left was more focused on single issue.
(2) The 1960s Left was at odds with the incumbent administrations in Washington, as opposed to today's Left which is being encouraged by the Obama White House.
(3) The 1960s Left had some deadly confrontations with law enforcement and the military, while we haven't seen that with the current bunch...at least not yet.
