Iowa Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley told The Daily Caller on Thursday that he’ll call for the resignation of the highest-level government official who signed off on Operation Fast and Furious. At this point, though, he’s not sold on whether that person is Attorney General Eric Holder.
“I’m not going to ask for anybody’s resignation until I find out who signed off on this at the highest level of government — and then I’m going to ask for that person’s resignation,” Grassley said in a phone interview.
When TheDC asked Grassley if he thought Holder signed off on Fast and Furious, or at least knew about it, he wasn’t sure. “We’re going to answer that question before we stop this investigation,” Grassley said. “All I can say is, if [Holder] didn’t know about it, he should’ve known about it.”

Gee. If I an accomplice to murder, all I need to do is resign from my job?
Fire that guy, then fire his boss for being the dumbass that would hire such an idiot.
Then charge them both with treason.
This is a very shrewd move by Grassley because it gives an incentive for people to point upward in the chain of command to save their own butts.
“It wasn’t me, this document clearly shows that it was my boss who was in on it”, all the way up the line until the fingers are all pointing at Holder, who may not go quietly.
Knowing the way that this bunch operates, though, it would not be surprising to find someone lower on the rung to accept a payoff or two for committing ritual seppuku. Hopefully there will be a clear enough paper and digital trail to make that impossible.

That comes first. The DOJ isn't going to prosecute DOJ. That's a job for the next administration.

Resignation is not enough. I want prosecution for Accessory to Premeditated Murder and then the death penalty.

Resignation? Just walk away from 200 counts of Accessory to murder in the first degree? You have got to be kidding me!!!
Our politicians need to go by the same laws as we do, you don’t resign from crap like this. There is huge load of blood on someones hands and it has just started! A lot of people need to go to prison for this, and a few of them need to stand trial in Mexico.
