Not that there are many libs here to begin with. There are the college students, but it is a Baptist private school with real students

Occupy Chicago also has union support. What a surprise. They are moving into phase 3 tonight-—whatever that means...

Remember: Little Rock was the birthplace of ACORN. The social justice sentiment runs deep here.

“Ladies and gentlemen, we have begun a species wide change. We are in it for the species.”

Humans vs. Hobbits, perhaps?

Interesting...Clinton connection? Or was this long after they had pulled up stakes for the East coast.

Community organizing ala obama and friends. There is only one candidate running for the Republican nomination that would have the b@!!$ to stop something like this and it is not Cain or Romney.

Paul Timmer’s page shows him to be a conservative Christian. I wonder if the post you quoted was sarcastic.

I went back to check further posts, and it looks as if Paul Timmer IS INDEED actually being sarcastic!!! The people who support this movement say such bizarre things, sarcasm doesn’t stand out!! Here are some clear quotes from his posts on Occupy Arkansas:

“@Southern...i think we are seeing how astroturf these Occupy pages are that popped up rapidly at the same exact time across the country. With the minimal turnout this morning, and lack of “in state” posts”

“No proble...see you at the ballot box..ur vote for Obama mine for anyone else on the ballot ;)”

So, glad to see someone out there trying to give other perspectives to these folks—sorry I mistook his sarcasm for genuine support— hope the conservatives in Little Rock are able to get the word out far and wide about the root of this movement and how it must be overshadowed by true American patriotism.

It seems now as if that is what Paul Timmer is trying to do! This teaches me, too, to click on a person’s name and look a little deeper before jumping to conclusions!! :-) I learned an important lesson! Thanks for keeping me on the straight and narrow, Baynative!

Update on Quote from Paul Timmer about Occupy Arkansas...

Looks as if Paul was being sarcastic. Unfortunately for the Occupy people, they say such odd things, sarcasm does not stand out!! Anyway, my apologies for misunderstanding the quotes and thanks to Baynative for looking deeper and calling it to my attention.

Other quotes from Paul Timmer posted later than the first I mentioned are below:

“Well if you support the Marxist revolution...im glad you no longer live in Arkansas.”

“Njlz Agne i dont know if your a real facebook account or not, or just a liberal with a tenth account. I have a second job...you can email me at paultimmer84@yahoo.com you can have it. Or i can bring you out filling out applications. My email is above! Looking forward to helping you find one! Also ATT is taking applications, just go to att.com and click on “career” Anymore help needed just ask. “Workers” is a term coined by Karl Marx to incite a mob for a cause against the government. You may not want to use that...Contact me!”

“@Njlz...no the Government took your money...and then GAVE it to the banks. You do know that right?”

Well, looks like I learned a lesson on this one! Nevertheless, it pays to follow these facebook pages, because they are instructional in many ways—just be sure to learn from my mistake and check things out a bit before taking something at face-value!
