Occupy Arkansas Facebook
Occupy Arkansas Facebook page | October 15, 2011 | Daisy Mae for the Usa

Posted on 10/15/2011 8:34:50 AM PDT by daisy mae for the usa

This just posted on Occupy Arkansas Facebook page by Paul Timmer:

"Raymond...were all meeting at the Democratic Party headquarters of Arkansas in front of the capitol....the Union leaders and democratic chairmen have been up all night making food, tent donations, sleeping bags at Academy sports, and making the signs they want us to hold. Make sure to go pick them up!"

Interesting, huh? What are some ironic or telling quotes from Occupy facebook pages going on in your area? Post here!

and this "thing" just keeps moving. I find it interesting that so many people don't seem to have a life who are protesting what they know not they are protesting...amazing mob mentality at work. Even Rome Italy is protesting today with the largest gathering thus far...over 100,000.

Now that the demonstrations are turning violent, the leftist movement may be sensing their day of glory. Bill Ayers, Bernadine Dohrn, Francis Fox-Piven and Van Jones are probably jubilant at the thought of violent anarchy and their prospects of building a new society.

I wonder what they have planned for the rest of us - the worker bees.

I posted this on another thread and want the true culpret to get the credit..

http://www.nowtheendbegins.com/blog/?p=6887

There has been much speculation over who is financing the disparate protest, which has spread to cities across America and lasted nearly four weeks. One name that keeps coming up is investor George Soros, who in September debuted in the top 10 list of wealthiest Americans. Conservative critics contend the movement is a Trojan horse for a secret Soros agenda.

Soros and the protesters deny any connection. But Reuters did find indirect financial links between Soros and Adbusters, an anti-capitalist group in Canada which started the protests with an inventive marketing campaign aimed at sparking an Arab Spring type uprising against Wall Street. Moreover, Soros and the protesters share some ideological ground.

It is unbelievable how stupid some of these people are. This quote from the same guy:

“Ladies and gentlemen, we have begun a species wide change. We are in it for the species.”

The Occupiers are astroturf, and are anti-American, as well as anti-Semitic, so naturally the Democratic Party is all-in. Thanks daisy mae for the usa.

The only thing this town has going for it is a Supercenter and a college...at least 45 of it’s students have “organized”. LOL

Most important is the fact that it means absolutely nothing. Here in America there are some 300 million who aren't throwing a street tantrum and will affect change at the ballot box. As for those overseas, they're hardly worth mentioning due to the fact that they have zero say in what goes on here and media attempts to make them appear important are pure idiocy.

True...but the media is driving this more and more and we know who influences and controls the media.

Winter will soon be here and the mobs will go home to where they can keep warm and use the technology the corporations have developed which they oppose , and communicate thru thier cells and pods via that very same corporate developed means, while chomping on a McDonald's Corporate Burger, as they relax in their Walmart Cooperate slippers.

Maybe this will give you some idea? Another quote:

Paul Timmer: Yes if those evil doctors, physiicans, fire chiefs, bosses, property owners, business leaders and owners just had the “physical support” to say TAX THEM MORE! Dont worry we will force them to be taxed more, so we can have free student loans! (Because we can already get free housing, free food, loans for college...i mean)...THE TEACHERS AND PROFESSORS get payed to much in our student loans! Tax them more!

Get it? Communism is the direction of this movement. American patriotism will end it. The sleeping giant must rise up. Will we? Or will we go quietly into the night? The answer is up to you, and me...we have to do more than post on FR— we have to inform everyone who is asleep.

I went back to check further posts, and it looks as if Paul Timmer IS INDEED actually being sarcastic!!! The people who support this movement say such bizarre things, sarcasm doesn’t stand out!! Here are some clear quotes from his posts on Occupy Arkansas:

“@Southern...i think we are seeing how astroturf these Occupy pages are that popped up rapidly at the same exact time across the country. With the minimal turnout this morning, and lack of “in state” posts”

“No proble...see you at the ballot box..ur vote for Obama mine for anyone else on the ballot ;)”

So, glad to see someone out there trying to give other perspectives to these folks—sorry I mistook his sarcasm for genuine support— hope the conservatives in Little Rock are able to get the word out far and wide about the root of this movement and how it must be overshadowed by true American patriotism.

It seems now as if that is what Paul Timmer is trying to do! This teaches me, too, to click on a person’s name and look a little deeper before jumping to conclusions!! :-) I learned an important lesson! Thanks for keeping me on the straight and narrow, Baynative!

Update on Quote from Paul Timmer about Occupy Arkansas...

Looks as if Paul was being sarcastic. Unfortunately for the Occupy people, they say such odd things, sarcasm does not stand out!! Anyway, my apologies for misunderstanding the quotes and thanks to Baynative for looking deeper and calling it to my attention.

Other quotes from Paul Timmer posted later than the first I mentioned are below:

“Well if you support the Marxist revolution...im glad you no longer live in Arkansas.”

“Njlz Agne i dont know if your a real facebook account or not, or just a liberal with a tenth account. I have a second job...you can email me at paultimmer84@yahoo.com you can have it. Or i can bring you out filling out applications. My email is above! Looking forward to helping you find one! Also ATT is taking applications, just go to att.com and click on “career” Anymore help needed just ask. “Workers” is a term coined by Karl Marx to incite a mob for a cause against the government. You may not want to use that...Contact me!”

“@Njlz...no the Government took your money...and then GAVE it to the banks. You do know that right?”

Well, looks like I learned a lesson on this one! Nevertheless, it pays to follow these facebook pages, because they are instructional in many ways—just be sure to learn from my mistake and check things out a bit before taking something at face-value!

I've been embarrassed more times than I like to remember when sending out email copies or posting comments of something I picked up. Now it's become habit that when I find something interesting enough to want to talk about or refer to others, I do some looking around on Snopes, fact check, or if it's something like face book, I go to the source.

More often than not I learn something in the process.
