Perry is between 9 and 16 percent in the latest polls. Cain has just jumped up there in the last two weeks but has yet to reach where Perry was in his first few weeks. He is now being vetted. We will see if he sustains it. He is a very motivational speaker, that is for sure.

We don’t care about the Cain interview. Meet the Press also had a debate between Jindal (for Perry campaign) and Pawlenty (for Romney campaign).

Go to the link and watch the video.

Or something similar.

Then by your logic, you just shoot from the lip and then call in the people who are tasked with the job to tell you where you messed up? Geez, that’s about as smart as Newt’s Scuzzyfava (sp) elitist support of a liberal candidate, just because she put an R next to her name? Then to make natters worse, berate those of us who called him on it as not being smart enough to understand. BTW, how is that Pelosi Global Warming scene setting with you?

Thanks for the video link, but next time save yourself some grief and just post the legit headline and let everyone decide what they think.

Yes We Cain! Cain is fearless in front of the liberal media. He handles himself with great dignity and strength in this interview.

How is it a smear attack to post a link to the interview this morning? I haven’t even seen it, but can’t Cain speak for himself? Cainbots are getting a little paranoid.

Here’s one example from last friggin’ MAY.

I found that after less than ten minutes of research and that wasn’t the first time that I’ve heard Cain say it.

Now who’s lying?

A humorous quote from your link, Marie...

“And if they can get over that fence and that electric barbed wire, I’ll give them a job at Godfather’s!”-Herman Cain

Another quote from a debate...

“I would bring a sense of humor because America is too uptight.”-Herman Cain

That is not what he said in his speech. Yes that sounds like a joke. What he said does not and that is why it drew attention from the media and from anti-illegal immigration groups of which I belong. They thought he was serious.

he didn't mention moats or alligators.

So an electrified fence is a joke? Ok I accept that. Is a fence a joke too? Will the fence be a full 2000 mile fence or like Perry has touted for years, strategic fencing with Predator drones and National Guard.

The only one I know who said they want a full fence is Bachmann. Did Cain or is he just joking his way around the speech circuit?

[snip]

David Gregory: “Would you deport illegal immigrants in the country right now?”

Herman Cain: “Here is my approach to illegal immigration. Here again, this is what’s resonating with the people. How I would solve the problem. It’s not as simple as, would you deport. We must secure the border. It would be a combination of a physical fence, technology and in some areas we might have to put troops there. We must secure the border. Secondly we must promote the path to citizenship that’s already there. We need to clean up the bureaucracy. Third enforce the laws that are already there. The way you do that is number four, which is a bold idea – empower the states to do what the federal government can’t do and won’t do as far as dealing with illegals that are in the United States today.”

[snip]

Gregory: “Why you and not Mitt Romney?”

”Why me and not Mitt Romney? Mitt Romney is a great businessman. I have a lot of respect for him. He has been more of a Wall Street executive. I have been more of a Main Street executive.”

Isn’t this EXACTLY Perry’s view?

You are a liar. Cain has used that ‘electrified fence’ line in MANY speeches over the months. It’s the SAME joke that Freepers do all the friggin’ time. “alligators in the moat...”

WE are not running for President of the United States.

This is a security issue not a joke, CAIN is running for the nomination, there is a difference.
