Herman Cain On "Meet The Press": Liberals Are "Destroying" Economy
RealClearPolitics ^ | 10/16/11 | RealClearPolitics

MR. GREGORY: You've talked as well about liberals in the country. You gave a speech in February where you didn't mince words. This is what you said.

(Videotape)

MR. CAIN: The objective of the liberals is to destroy this country.

(End videotape)

MR. GREGORY: To destroy this country. How so?

MR. CAIN: Economically. Look at this economy. David, the engine of economic growth is the business sector. We are growing at an anemic 1, 1 1/2 percent. If we allow this economy to continue to go down, it would destroy our economic capability. And, as a result, we are now looking at how much in defense we can cut. That's destroying it. It...

MR. GREGORY: You think liberals actually seek to do that, that that's their mission, to destroy the economy?

MR. CAIN: I--that's the conclusion that I have drawn.

MR. GREGORY: Not mismanagement.

MR. CAIN: No!

I just hope his advisers are correct when they suggest he go this hard. He’s saying those running the government want to ruin it. He’s obviously correct and the worst is certainly yet to come if we don’t get things turned around.

Cain is right, it’s rather like Eric Holder, either
he knew and lied, or he didn’t know and was incompetent,
both of which should see him removed from office.
The liberals are either doing it on purpose or they
are mismanaging it, in either instance they should
be removed.

I watched this exchange this morning. I thought chimpy-boy was going to go apoplectic when Cain insisted liberals were deliberately destroying the economy.

The herminator kicked the hell out of that fag boy from nbc.

Herman never blinked, waffled, wavered, choked, panicked, backed down or lost either his cool or sense of humor.

davey girl was flustered, flummoxed, frustrated and FUBAR trying to get Herman to cave to his prissy questions. I recorded it so I can get a nice glass of Johnnie Walker Black {I only drink Black for the herminator} and re-watch my man Herman, tweak the nose of the host of the number one Sunday show.

You know this performance will drive them all crazy.

The next segment with chuck f todd and that british bitch was priceless.

The two of them are trying to figure out how to pimp perry and romney because they are scared spit-less of Herman.

MR. GREGORY: You think liberals actually seek to do that, that that's their mission, to destroy the economy?

Yes. Their mission is to destroy our economy and then convince the electorate that the cause of the destruction was due to capitalism itself. Next step, obviously, is the implementation of total gov't control in all aspects of our lives.

I just hope his advisers are correct when they suggest he go this hard.

This didn't come from his advisors. This is Cain being Cain. His plain talk may not be PC, but it's refreshingly honest and not just some advisor-written phrases that have been focus-tested.

He's not running that type of campaign, which is why so many professional politicos say he's not doing it right. Time will tell, but poll numbers so far show that many people like what they are hearing.

I use to listen to Cain on the radio when he subbed for Neal Boortz. He was a solid conservative and destroyed the liberal callers with brutal logic and deadly charm. He was relaxed and comfortable in his conservative armor and nobody could rattle him.

As a presidential candidate he started out a little shaky but now he is getting the hang of it and is settling into his “talkradio” mode—which pretty much means he will be invincible from now on—his strategic conquest of Meet The Press this morning is only the beginning.
