Anything would be welcome.

We can always limit what we use to shoot at it.

I have some scrap 2x4 in the garage I can bring. Probably a few tennis balls too. I was thinking of going to the Goodwill store and getting a bowling ball or two. What do you think?

Is it legal t shoot rifle rounds in a river?

It’s federal law you can’t shoot lead shot waterfowling anywhere but especially over water.

It didn’t cost much for me to make, so it’s not a big deal if it gets ruined. I just don’t want to have to worry about ricochets.

Like I say, anything is welcome.

Floaty things are great for the river.

This is Texas, man!

We’ll be sure to use only lead-free ammo. ;-)

I think the lead poisoning thing is BS anyway. Ducks eat the lead and die, scavengers and raptors eat the dead ducks and die, predators eat them and die.

I don’t think there’s proof it goes up the food chain like that, only speculation.

Well, I do know this. it does not leach out in water.

Plus a round from anything, where ever it hits, dirt/river bottom/tree, is going to imbed itself so deeply no duck is going to dig it out.
