We've got to do something about "homophobia": a proposal [vanity]

Posted on 10/17/2011 8:20:21 AM PDT by Feline_AIDS

Ever since liberals drug-tripped their way into thinking that marriage is a right, we've been bombarded with insipid comparisons between gay rights and the civil rights movement. Realistically, democrats started the gay rights movement during the civil rights movement when they had a raunchy love affair with Jim Crow.© (That's pretty clever, if I do say so myself. Kind of want to copyright that. ETA: Done.)

This has given rise to a new gold standard in liberal insults: homophobia. Some clever little person realized that a few very vocal anti-gay people turned out to be fruity themselves. An energy-saving light bulb came on in the collective liberal mind (a tiny dim room stinking of body odor and weed) when they realized that they could take the part and apply it to the whole. The rationale goes something like this: since those vocal anti-gays were afraid of their gayness and thus fought against it, all people who fight against the avalanche of fruits must also do so out of fear. The subtext, of course, is that the "homophobe" is gay himself.

See what they did there? They'll shout from the rooftops that there's nothing wrong with being gay--the more gay you are the better--extra points for minority/disabled gay friends--gay pride ba-bay! But then they turn around and use it as an insult.

It feeds into their neurotic obsession with outing conservatives for being hypocritical. It feeds their belief that they are right, and all they have to do is finally topple "the man" once and for all, because "the man" likes other men anyway--he just won't admit it.

"Homophobe" is a powerful insult, and it doesn't take much to earn it.

Conservative: "I don't think gays should get married."

Liberal: "Why not? You think people will marry animals next?"

Conservative: "Depending on the wording of the law, it's certainly possible, but my real concern is for the maintenance of a moral society. I'm sure some gays would get married and live quietly somewhere as taxpayers. But in reality it will create a troublesome new moral standard."

Liberal: "You racist homophobe. I can't imagine what it's like to be so full of hate. You should just go kill yourself."

Conservative: "Wait... what?"

Liberal: "I mean, how many black friends do you have?"

Conservative: "I don't know, I don't keep count."

Liberal: "You disgust me. You're almost as bad as those Jews that run the media and the world."

But in the media, the term homophobe is a bad publicity magnet. Chic-fil-a gives money to Focus on the Family and suddenly THOSE COWS ARE HOMOPHOBIC. Boycott! (Wait, aren't you vegan, Mr. liberal?) Anyone associated with anything "homophobic" must issue heartfelt apologies ("I had no idea of the anti-gay stance this company takes!") and then showcase his/her own acceptance of gays.

Some celebrity says "fag" to a straight person who is being an idiot. HOMOPHOBIC. You donate money to an organization like Focus on the Family. HOMOPHOBIC. You say gay pride parades are offensive, and straight pride parades would be too, because celebrations of sexuality have no place parading down the street. HOMOPHOBIC.

So here's my proposal. Let's use "-phobic" to our advantage. Example: Obama is Ameriphobic. The true gems will be ones that can be widely applied and will be widely denied. Democrats are workphobic because they want handouts.

Can you think of a good -phobe/-phobic for the libs?

The word homophobia is a great illustration of how people don’t think and how saying the correct political thing is usually saying nothing. The word literally means the fear of sameness. It has nothing to do with what someone does with his or her genitals.

A homophobe is a homosexual who can’t stand to admit his homosexuality, so he refers to himself as gay.

I have the same opinion of homosexuals that I have of drug addicts:

- If they are one, but don’t want to be one, they have my support and even could be a friend.

- If they are one, but aren’t hurting anyone and keep it to themselves and don’t identify themselves as one and aren’t trying to spread it, then I can usually ignore this attribute of their personality.

- If they are one, identify themselves as one, try to spread it, try to get kids involved, or try to make public policy in their favor, then they have earned my wrath.

There is no fear (phobia) in my personal opinion of homosexuals.

Homophobia is a term used to refer to a range of negative attitudes and feelings towards lesbian, gay and in some cases bisexual, transgender people and behavior....

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homophobia

Homophobia. Accept it. Embrace it. Own it.

I am homophobic. I am afraid of the evil and perverted designs these people have against me, my children and my country. I could go on for hours explaining the fears we have against the fags and the perverts, but to accuse us of homophobia?

Go for it.

“Ever since liberals drug-tripped their way into thinking that marriage is a right...”

I think the root of the problem is that many have been conditioned to think that marriage is merely a collection of benefits and obligations attached to a contract that the gubberment defines. Libs love that most folks think that the institution is only what a few people in black robes say it is, or what the majority thinks it is at the time.

Since a recently published statistic said that 25-33% of gay/bi men host the HIV Virus, would it be wrong to say they are becoming modern day zombies?

Homosexuals most feared book: Pink Swastika (free online) (they are doing everything to ban it, marginalize it, etc.and destroy the authors).....because it contains the truth and the whole history of the homosexual movements and occults throughout history—movements which are always fascist. Political Correctness (calling names like homophobe) is a fascist concept of Herbert Marcuse and the cultural Marxists to destroy debate, so the TRUTH doesn’t get to the useful idiots.

There is no “gay gene”. It is a environmentally learned behavior. They have to corrupt the young to create homosexuals. They have access to the minds of your children and grandchildren to create a homosexual society—like in ancient Greece and today’s Afghanistan—because schools and MSM use psychology in their programming of the minds of the masses. They create their perceptions of right and wrong......parents allow it—they are too busy buying into the materialism to take charge of moral formation.

We have allowed immoral people control of schools and government and not held them accountable. Evil people control the institutions and the press and publishing companies...they have for a century. They want the kids corrupted—no God. No right and wrong. No good and evil. They want to bring society into their moral sewer and control over everyones actions.

Sadly, we are severely losing the war on homosexuality. I think we are so far gone that it might be impossible to return to the morals. It will be tough to win this fight, but one day at a time for us that are fighting this.

This is good. You could even substitute cigarette smokers or alcoholics or overweight people if you wanted to make this more palatable and undeniable to the left.

- If they are one, but don’t want to be one, they have my support and even could be a friend.

- If they are one, but aren’t hurting anyone and keep it to themselves and don’t identify themselves as one and aren’t trying to spread it, then I can usually ignore this attribute of their personality.

Why not...’Queer Fear’? That has a catchy ring to it.

Because I for one, reject their lifestyle, I do not fear it. If they were secure in themselves they could handle the rejection but that doesn't seem to be an option. Sad thought, perhaps they fear their own proclivities, knowing them to be ultimately self destructive?

Regards,
GtG

PS I think kidd's #8 post is a very clear and concise summation of the issues.

I once had phagophobia (pronounced fag-o-phobia). If you don’t believe me, look it up. It’s a real condition where can’t swallow because you’re afraid of choking and can’t eat solid foods, and sometimes liquids. I had to take meds to overcome it. (Liquid of course).
