$250?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Where’s my flint?......gotta start making some quick!.............
In a related story Prof. Spackler was removed from the project for placing a garden hose in Prof. Gopher’s car and filling it with water and other harassments.
"I was just trying to protect the integrity of the science ya know."
It looks a little ‘fresh’, but yeah I’m drooling too...
the Acheulo-Yabrudian cultural complex
Aren’t these the people Eisenhower warned us about?
while the animal hide was processed elsewhere.
Which if you’ve ever done brain tanned hides
you know why.

Burton's book is a reference standard on the topic. Good choice. I would ping my sword ping list, but I'm on the wrong computer tonight and don't have it handy. Dang...
I looked at that link in reply 39, and saw the newly worked points. It is still a nice specimen.
No, but my grandfather ‘tanned my hide’ once!...........................
I searched a bit and don’t see a lot of slamming.
I don’t doubt the tools - but the aging method/accuracy.
I note that at that site they commonly find “first ever” and “earliest” - so - two possibilities - they either are a lot of first evers and earliest - OR - dating is messed up, and “laters” are being dated as earlier.
I don’t see anyone agressively saying they have screwed up the site - so probably OK.
Simialrly - these discoveries in or near Israel of “ealiest man” - always need a tight loook. That said - if I were coming out of Africa - I’d build my summer hous ein Israel as well. So - it is n’t crazy - like say - Mongolia. (Or - to tie all the theads together - American Indians as a lost tribe of Israel.)
Looks solid.
If youd like to be on or off, please FR mail me.

They were Palestinians, of course.

I am impressed!
Nope, I just excerpted the guy's "shortdescription" text. Also, you wouldn't hear me making that teadrinker distinction between "humans" and "NeandertHals".
