Obama Approval 43% & 39% Say He Deserves 2nd Term

UTICA, NY--Herman Cain is now the runaway leader among Republican presidential primary voters with 45%, more than twice that of second-place Mitt Romney (21%). Rick Perry, who led with 41% in late August, has fallen to 7%, and Michele Bachmann, who led in June and July, now gets just 1%.

President Barack Obama's approval rating among all voters is 43%, and the percentage saying he deserves re-election is 39%.

These results are from an IBOPE Zogby interactive poll conducted from Oct. 11-14.

Cain appears to have won support of voters who previously supported Perry or Bachmann. Romney's 21% is the highest we have shown for him in match-ups with the current field of announced candidates.

Republican Candidates (asked only of the party's primary voters)

If the Republican primary for president were held today, for whom would you vote?

Sorry, Michele. It was great while it lasted but... It’s over. It’s not you, it’s me. Really. It’s over. I hope you’ll understand someday.

With the TEA Party and the Internet, the political world doesn't revolve around consulting money any more.

There are a lot of people in politics who are going to have to find a new line of work.

So what will Mitt's stalking horse do when the time comes? Turn all his delegates over to Mitt so that Mitt gets the nomination?

Cain’s bump is not a sputtering start like Perry’s was. It seems to be gainins steam, while his is having a difficult time keeping the RPM’s up.

And Romney is just hoping the rest of the field just bows out and lets him has “his turn”, i.e. Dole III.

This Cain thing is kinda wierd. Nobody is bringing up any fatal problems with his candidacy, other than a lack of money which will be forthcoming once he is seen as electable, which seems to be happening.

I’ve been on another site where Cain is being vilified. Everything from he is in the evil Koch brothers pockets to asserting he wants to kill the poor by starving them. The establishment and liberals are going to fight against him like crazy because 9-9-9 means the end of their power.

“Cain is going to be the next President of the United States.”

It’s far from a done deal. He needs to get organized and win primaries. Romney brings lots of support from entrenched insterests and lots of money. Plus, the attacks have just started.

I really wonder if money really matters. I am serious. As long as he keeps to his morals and people believe him then I sincerely believe that he will be President. The problem with Perry is that he believes in Mexico and illegal aliens and Americans believe him. haha. It is insane that intelligent people as FREEPERS are falling for this RINO....it is really sad. They will wake up soon....I hope.

boy oh boy does that remind me of 1980 when the left made out Reagan to be a warmongering kook and was scaring everyone the country would end because of Reaganomics.. of course the opposite proved true on both counts as it will with the people slamming Herman Cain
