I'd be sniffing the air for ozone if I were you. Pro-Rudy comments are not well received on this conservative website.

Neither is Alex Jones...you don't have room to talk...

Neither does someone calling themselves a ‘Con Man’.

That issue has been resolved, you’re late to this party.

In Feb. 2008, it was Romney, vs. McCain, vs. Huckabee, vs. Giuliani among the top three. He went with whom he believed came across the strongest among the four. Let’s keep it in perspective here.

(1) I can’t believe you cut Perry’s legs out from under him by posting his picture in this thread. Perry’s illegal immigration position is what is keeping him down in the polls. Anything that reminds voters of that position hurts Perry.

Perrys comment to you for your help here would be “thanks for nothing.”

(2) Electric fences are actually pretty common. I have relatives that use electric barbed wire fences for cattle (the shock won’t kill you, but it’s enough that you won’t touch it twice). Cain’s suggestion that a border fence should be electrified is far from impractical. It’s already being used in the real world.

I suspect people are “shocked” (pun intended) by the electric fence suggestion, because they don’t know how they work or how common they already are.

Whatever happened to the alligator moat idea?

They scrapped it when they realized the electric fence would kill the alligators in the moat.

Personally, I like the moat over the electric fence also.

If Cain said the sun was warm, Bachmann would attack him.

At this point, Bachmann’s only hope to get back in the game is if Cain explodes, so she’s been going after everything he says.

For example “devil in the details.” She’s opposed to a tax plan that is short enough to hold in your hands, but she’s not worried about the “devils in the details” of the current 90,000 page tax code?

Under normal circumstances, Bachmann would be one of the biggest critics of the current code, and all for replacing it. But because that would help Cain, she’s flipped her position.

The subject at this point is Cain’s reversal reversal joke fest about international policy.

It’s not fair painting all “newbies” with a broad brush, trying to make them afraid to speak their mind

No problem. I am just sick and tired of having to hold my nose and vote for a RINO like Rudy and mittens. If it hadn't been for Gov Palin, I'd have stayed home.

Herman Cain has re-written, “A week is a lifetime in politics” to “A day is a lifetime in politics.” He’s pretty much shortened it to, “An hour is a lifetime in politics.”

As opposed to professional politicians? Keep posting stuff like this. Mitt Romney loves to see you Perry and Cain supporters destroying each other.

“Cain is the best of those we have running, but he’s still not ready for prime time.”

Neither is the guy sitting in the oval office. Between the two....I’ll take Cain any day of the week.

I agree completely!

Which is why, in response to a poster calling Rick Perry a “Rove-picked Gore-derived puppet for Romney”, I offered Cain’s own words lavishing respectful — dare I say puppet-like? — support to Romney. Just, you know, injecting a bit of factual perspective into the discussion to counter his BS.

Perhaps it would be productive if you had this same “perspective” discussion with your friend who made the post to which I replied?

I agree.. Rudy was great for NYC, would have been a disaster as POTUS

My whole point was, supporting Romney is just as bad as supporting Rudy... They both suck

Why do we care what Mexicans think? An electic fence is to keep out drug smugglers and other Mexican people that are trying to enter the United States ILLEGALLY. Worried about how much it will cost to build? Think about much States and the US Department of Homeland Security save with an electric fence. besides, our goverment spends billions on dumb ideas all the time.

Last time I check there were border crossings between the United States and Mexico that can be used by people that what to enter either country LEGALLY. Herman, keep saying what you think and in November 2012 don’t count on the votes in Mexico City to get you in.

I don’t care what you think, but if you care to comment go ahead...

July 18, 2011: Cain: Romney’s religion is a barrier to GOP nod ..... ” (w/ video) Republican presidential primary candidate Herman Cain says front-runner Mitt Romney cannot win the party’s White House nomination next year because of his religion. “Romney would be a good choice, but I don’t believe he can win,” Mr. Cain told editors and reporters of The Washington Times.

"I know the South, and you have to win the South. Mitt Romney did not win it when he ran against John McCain” in the 2008 primaries, said Mr. Cain. “The reason he will have a difficult time winning the South this time is because when he ran the first time, he did not do a good job of communicating his religion. It doesn’t bother me, but I know it is an issue with a lot of Southerners.”….

Let’s try to put this in perspective, regarding Cain’s comments on Mitt Romney’s religion and his failure to garner any significant support in the South in ‘08.

Being from the South myself, I can tell you and anyone else who cares to listen, that when the Southern primaries arrive, the typical Southerner is going to take a look at Mitt-Witt, at Perry, and at Cain and reach the following conclusions:

Herman Cain: “he’s one of us, he understands us, he won’t forget us when he gets to the White House”

Rick Perry: “Texas needs him more in Austin, than America needs him in Washington, but a nice guy”

Mitt Romney: “G*DAMNED YANKEE!!”
