I'll see your 'Cain supported Romney' and raise you a 'Rick Perry was a 'Rat AND supported Al Gore' in addition to Rudy-Tooty.

I'd suggest folding your cards, kid.

Affirmative Action is a *GREAT* idea! Let’s code it into TAX law and let the IRS administer it! ;-)

I’m not sure anymore what he wants, but I think he is saying that he still thinks an electric fence would be good, but doesn’t want it to kill people. I’m guessing the “kill people” part of his speech was the joke.

We had so much fun with this last night, with some Caniacs missing the sound of retreat and bravely soldiering on fighting for the absolute right to kill every illegal that crosses our border. Apparently, the sight of dead bodies piling up by the fence was supposed to be an effective deterrent. I had a blast, it was so much fun I actually stayed up all night just commenting back to them.

The best was when one of them “revealed” the “shocking truth” that I had supported Romney in the 2008 election. They then all started calling me a RINO liberal for supporting a guy like Romney. When I pointed out the hilarity of CAIN supporters attacking a freeper for supporting Romney in the last election, they explained why it was “different”. They couldn’t explain the part about why Cain saying he supported Romney in 2012 wasn’t germaine to the conversation.

I think blaming people for who they decide to support is stupid, but it was just funny. I did get one to admit that while he wanted to shoot illegals crossing the border, he wouldn’t shoot them if they had already made it across safely.

The question of the day — if something happens to Cain, and it comes down to Romney or Perry, who will the Cainiacs support? We know Herman Cain will support Romney over Perry. Will they follow suit? Better yet — will they admit it now?

I don’t know whether I’m supporting Cain, or Perry, or some other candidate, but I know I’ll never choose Romney over any of them that have a chance (thus eliminating Huntsman).

OK, if it’s between Romney and Ron Paul, I may just run down to the border, stand on the mexican side, call up a Cainiac supporter, tell them I’m illegal crossing the border. That way I won’t have to shoot myself.

Really? You want to go there?
Cain supported Romney!!!
At this stage, I’d rather have Rudy

Say Jim? Looks like we missed one in the great FR Bug Zapper thread.

I had fun with that. A Cainiac tried to explain that with Cain, the first thing he says about a subject is what he really believes, and everything after that is a political lie to smooth things over.

So when someone posted the 2010 comment from Cain that he would find jobs for people who made it past the alligators, I asked if that meant that Cain wanted to reward illegal aliens with green cards.

.....Cain's not perfect, but he is honest and willing to admit his mistakes. Maybe that's what we need instead of prime time ready politicians.

It's just that he makes so many of them.

10/02/11""My reaction is, that's just very insensitive," Cain told Fox. "[There] isn't a more vile, negative word than the N-word, and for him to leave it there as long as he did, before I hear that they finally painted over it, is just plain insensitive to a lot of black people in this country."

10/03/11: “All I said was the mere fact that that word was there was ‘insensitive,’ ” Cain said outside Trump Tower in Manhattan, N.Y., according to the National Review. “That’s not playing the race card. I am not attacking Gov. Perry. Some people in the media want to attack him. I’m done with that issue!”

“After first apologizing for suggesting an electric fence along the border”

BS. He never apologized.

The electrified fence is a winning idea.

Eastern Diamondbacks like water almost as well as Cottonmouths do, the Western Diamondback is just a variant of the Eastern or vice versa so they probably like water too. They don’t just bite what they intend to eat, the bite can be defensive also.

Nice try. JR can see that I hate Romney... Saying even Rudy is better then that POS Romney doesn’t mean squat. I’m sure many folks, given a choice, would say the same. I’m for Perry, now that Palin is out

My bet is that he’s not gonna take your lame out-of-context childish stunt at face value

I saw a thread about that but didn’t visit it. It happens when you get old (I nod off every afternoon...). But then, he’s been a snore all his life.

Cain is the best of those we have running, but he’s still not ready for prime time hasn't been hand-selected by the establishment, he's not part of the program.

I think Cain is right on!

He wants to focus on securing the border. Then if, like he says, we “enforce the laws that are already there”, i.e. absolutely no hiring of illegals, no school for illegals, no welfare for illegals.... then we won’t have to deport them, they will just go home on their own.
