As long as there are debates, then I don't care who moderates. Obviously the problem is that conservative moderators have zero interest in moderators. So the liberals step up to the plate and moderate. I think it is easy as that. Until Rush puts together a debate for the Republicans, we will have to deal who steps up to the plate. Hard to complain about liberals being the moderators when the Conservatives don't have an interest in the job.

I can’t wait to see Newt stare him down and DARE him to ask him a stupid question

I think only Newt should show up and spend 2 hours ripping the liberal media, that would be epic!

CNN Republican Debate: Are Republicans Getting Dumber? If you have to ask, you're part of the problem.
Republican stupidity isn't new, it's been part of the GOP for decades. Thus the Tea Party and the reason that so many former Republicans (such as myself) now call ourselves conservatives.
The GOP is destined to go the way of the Dodo if they don't quit going along to get along with the Dems who have long played them like violins!!

The other issue is that it is, by definition, a REPUBLICAN debate. Theoretically, at at least, only REPUBLICANS will be voting in the primaries to elect one REPUBLICAN candidate who will represent the REPUBLICAN party (don't get me started on the "open primary" states). So why shouldn't ALL the questioners be avowed amd self-identified Republicans?
What business does ANY non-Republican have asking questions in these debates?

Cooper and CNN will be on their good behavior and dispense with the junior high school-level vulgarity.
And the Easter bunny is real too.

You ever thing Democrats would have a conservative news reporter moderate their debate? NEVER in a million years. Republicans need to quit bending over and garbing their ankles to the liberal media and press.
To: bkopto
I haven’t tuned into CNN in years (airports excluded). Don’t see any reason to tonight.

Is Cain going to be there? I had heard that he and several other candidates were boycotting this debate.

Oh, I love the Newt stare down! He does it with a slight smirk as if to say - go ahead, you feel lucky today?

I like the candidates to be challenged, and the candidates should challenge the moderator on his choice or omission of topics.
