What Mac did they buy? To spend close to 5K you would have to buy the top of the line 17" MacBook Pro and add almost every option.

Yes, part of me agrees with you. But knowing the types of people who are involved in this type of protest I can assure you that the irony of this will be lost upon them. It would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic.

I've heard dozens of audio interviews with these protesters and I've yet to hear one intelligent sentence.
