Remember when Iowa was going to be a battle between Perry and Bachmann for the conservative vote? Hes now at 5.9 percent, shes at 3.9 percent. Theyre barely ahead of Newt Gingrich combined.
Cain by 10 with the caucuses just 75 or so days away. Unless hes taken major damage over this weeks abortion kerfuffle, which I doubt, I dont see why he cant be this cycles Huckabee.

I am so glad this is the last election Ron Paul is going to be in, I am so tired of him taking 10% of the conservative vote away from the real conservatives in the race and increasing the chance of a liberal getting the nod.
Thanks for posting the “Don’t Know” stats. Cain with 39 + % is something he will need to work on a little harder. No other candidate has challenged the other candidates to write down THEIR ideas like Cain has.
This is going to be a great Primary for generating good planks/ideas for the eventual Republican Nominee.
This will be an interesting game.
Geeze shut up about Cains abortion stance. You are listening to liberal smears.
The man is the most conservative out of all the republican candidates on the issue. Read what he has said..not these cut up quotes that make it sound like he is some kind of pro abortion rino.
Rick Santorum should be out attacking the candidate who was saying when he ran for office in Massachusetts that he believed in a “woman’s right to choose.”
But that doesn’t fit the game plan since Mitt Romney is the annointed candidate of the GOP Establishment that Rick Santorum comes from.
Santorum’s candidate for president in Iowa back in 1996 was some guy named Arlen.
I think Mr. Cain is a great man. He survives.
Sadly, our country is not run like a real business. It should be, but it isn’t.
As great as I think Mr. Cain’s ideas are...he will have to get them thru The Legislative Branch.
I have great ideas myself, I run a successful business. But I don’t have 400+ dissenters to deal with.
That will be the problem...vote in the Senate and House elections. That will be the ultimate answer.

Herman Cain was endorsed by the Georgia Right-To-Life PAC in the 2004 US Senate GOP primary. Cains primary challenger from 2004, Johnny Isakson, had a pro-choice streak in his voting record and it was the reason why GRTL endorsed him.
Life, liberty & pursuit of happiness starts with unborn life
The Founding Fathers got it right. The Founding Fathers got it right because of those fundamental principles: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. They also got it in the right order. That wasnt an accident. Their vision meant that you could pursue happiness in America as long as you dont infringe upon the liberties of somebody else. And you can pursue all the liberties that you want as long as you dont infringe upon the life of anybody else. And that starts with the life of the unborn.

Defund Planned Parenthood; intent was to kill black babies
I absolutely would defund Planned Parenthoodnot because I dont believe in planning parenthood, [but because] Planned Parenthood as an organization is an absolute farce on the American people.
People who know the history of Margaret Sanger, who started Planned Parenthood, they know that the intention was not to help young women who get pregnant to plan their parenthood. Noit was a sham to be able to kill black babies.

Life begins at conception, period
I believe that life begins at conception, period. And that means that I will have to see enough evidence that someone I would appoint shares that same view. I believe that the current Supreme Court is leaning too much to the liberal side.
Im a Christian, Ive been a Christian all my life. Ive been a believer in the Bible since I was 10 years old. Im very active in my church, and there is no way I would compromise my religious beliefs about the sanctity of life. And so it starts with, will they have demonstrated, in some of their other rulings, if they come from the federal judge bench, whether or not they also share that.
Because I believe that the principles that our Founding Fathers cherished, when they founded this country, and wrote the Declaration of Independence which inspired the Constitution, they were based upon biblical principles. I want to get back to those principles as president, if I run and get electednot rewrite those documents.

I’ve changed my mind. This is who I want to be my next president.

What you’re saying makes sense to me. Along those lines, I really like the way Newt talks during the debates, BUT, he also backed establishment candidate Dede Scozzafava, in the NY special election. She was so RINO, she ended up throwing her (considerable) weight behind the Dem candidate, who beat out a good conservative.
Piers Morgan used the "what if your granddaughter were raped--would you deny her the right to an abortion" trick question.Herman Cain is clearly pro-life, life begins at conception. To say the government ought not be telling his granddaughter what to do when she's raped--
This has been misconstrued to attack Herman Cain by many mockingbirds.
I just wrote the WHO program manager regarding Jan Mickelson's and Steve Deace's precise twisting of the reply to a loaded question.
There is a frenzy to dynamite conservative prospects and install another McCain-like crash dummy.
2010 all over again will prove the majority dark matter of the universe triumphant.
Obama would kill babies who survive abortion; Romney swore he would defend Margaret Sanger's war on blacks.
Now comes Piers Morgan to drag raping Cain's granddaughter into the political arena for the lions to tear apart.
We expect nothing more of these flea-bitten winged monkeys.
You mean he read the 10th Amendment????!!!! No politician has ever done that before. No sarc tag. I am serious. AFAIAC, that goes along with gay marriage into states rights, but we havent had those in 146 years.

Unfortunately, for many people, politics is like a team sport. They only superficially believe in the issues; they enjoy the thrill of rooting for their team far more. Election night is like SuperBowl.
Such people are willing to pick Romney over actual conservatives because they want to maximize their changes for a victory over the opposing team.
At this point its the people versus the politicians-the Tea Party versus the GOP Establishment-Herman Cain versus Mitt Romney.
The other folks from Santorum to Newt to Bachmann, Perry etc. need to pull out and tell us whose side they’re on.
Aside from Bachmann, you can be sure the rest of them would prefer Romney.
With the exception of Ron Paul, who’s on his own frequency.
Sarah Palin needs to fish or cut bait at some point, too.
Sounds like a good explanation of Rush Limbaugh’s blind loyalty to the R team and his steadfast opposition to a third one.
Rick Santorum as Rick Lazio.Michelle Bachmann awakes from a dream and before telling Mr. DeMille she's ready for her closeup says she knows nothing of her New Hampshire staff's defection.
Perry shall rise again.
Ron Paul under glass.
Jon Huntsman or the Wax Museum dummy--you decide.
And the Disney animatronic Mr. Mitt Goes to Babylon as himself.
Sarah Palin could endorse somebody between buffing her nails.
Okay, there. I said it.
This is for all the chips.
Pretty good analogy there.
Exactly. His position on abortion is the most Constitutionally consistent one I’ve ever heard from someone running for elected office.
Fool.
I heard what he had to say and English is my first language.
Three months ago, no one even knew who Herman Cain was.
He may be the next POTUS
Granted, he is not as slick and polished as some others, but he has a year to work on his campaigning style and is the only true conservative with a chance of winning, not to mention, he is a TP member.
No more RINO’s!
From the front page of: http://www.hermancain.com/h
“Yesterday in an interview with Piers Morgan on CNN, I was asked questions about abortion policy and the role of the President.
I understood the thrust of the question to ask whether that I, as president, would simply “order” people to not seek an abortion.
My answer was focused on the role of the President. The President has no constitutional authority to order any such action by anyone. That was the point I was trying to convey.
As to my political policy view on abortion, I am 100% pro-life. End of story.
I will appoint judges who understand the original intent of the Constitution. Judges who are committed to rule of law know that the Constitution contains no right to take the life of unborn children.
I will oppose government funding of abortion. I will veto any legislation that contains funds for Planned Parenthood. I will do everything that a President can do, consistent with his constitutional role, to advance the culture of life.”
