Glenn Beck

Herman Cain, Rick Perry, Michele Bachmann … you can all go home now. The Republican "machine" has settled on former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney as the 2012 GOP nominee and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio as the vice-presidential candidate, according to popular commentator Glenn Beck.

Beck is a temple going, church every sunday, true blue member of the Church.

I’m not sure where you get the idea he isn’t.

"I hate the Republicans just as much as I hate the Democrats," he said on yesterday's program. "I haven't found anybody I can vote for yet. … It's going to be Mitt Romney and Rubio. You watch. It will be. That's the way the machine works."

It would not appear from this that Beck is backing Romney. He doesn't like the Republican Party that is going to inevitably put up Romney. That doesn't sound a lot like approval, much less endorsement.

Palin has already said she won’t go 3rd party, and has warned that doing so will only give Zero 4 more years.

Crap, let’s be honest.
Not a lot to like in the GOP; pretty much “but the Democrats are worse” is about the only selling point for any of ‘em.
Seven dwarfs with nothing going for them except *not* being Obama. Only Cain and Romney could run anything larger than a lemonade stand and I wouldn’t trust any of them to manage my 401K except Cain.
2012 will be yet another year of holding the nose and voting for the lesser of two evils and the evil of two lessors :-(

I don’t think Romney will be the nominee.

Why, Oh why do people give credence to Glen? He is a well-read historian, and a so-so radio broadcaster. He switched from Catholicism, to Mormonism. Christianity to paganism, and yet people give him credit for being some kind of voice of sanity.

The way I read thus piece, I don’t see Beck supporting Romney, but rather saying the party has already selected Romney as its nominee.

Beck has been heading off the rails with is insane predictions based on nothing more than a thought that hits him at that moment. There is no sign that Romney has this anywhere near close to sewed up and Rubio has stated emphatically for the umpteenth time on BOR this week he is out 100%.

Beck is entertainment and that is all.

Sounds just like Romney himself, doesn’t it? (Or McCain?) Coincidence?

“I hate the Republicans and everything they stand for but I will accept the nomination. I pledge never to criticize Obama!”

How can they decide? There are primaries you know.

Or is it the corruption is everywhere, and the election fixes to the voting and counting machines have already been programmed?

The reason the primaries are moved further and further away from the election is to ensure that the election can be compromised, and that the ‘chosen’ candidates by the corrupt are the only choice for citizens.

You would replace the kenyan with Romney??? Both will face a Republican Congress 2013 - 2014.
That Congress would balk at kenyan socialism. It would pass Romney socialism which will not be qualitatively different.
After 2 years the kenyan will likely face an even more conservative and Republican Congress. After 2 years Romney will cause the Congress to flip back to Democrat once again.
After 4 ore years of the kenyan the next president will be a Republican, perhaps an actual conservative. After 4 years of Romney in 2016 a farther left and much more competent and dedicated Communist/Democrat will be elected in revulsion against the leftist Romney because conservatives will not vote.

I would not vote for Romney for anything where he might affect any government or social entity. That goes the same for the kenyan.

Rubio is arguably ineligible.

IF Mittens gets the nod—Palin and Trump might go 3rd Party and I think they might win.

Hmmm.

I fully intend to be a delegate at the State Republican Convention again. (won’t be hard here in the boonies) If I can to the National Convention.

If enough of us get there quietly, it could be decided in the convention: “None of the Above”.

It has happened before.

That is true of governor and lieutenant governor in Texas and...the lieutenant governor has more power in some respects than the governor.

Vote, just leave the president slot blank and vote down ballot for conservatives in congress. Thats what I may be doing, depends on who is finally nominated...We need the senate and house.....I keep saying that to those that say they won’t vote because of who might be candidate, but there is more at stake than just the WH. GG
