Herman Cain has raised more than $3 million in the month of October, campaign strategist Mark Block told CNN. Continue Reading

"It’s over $3 million," Block said in an interview with Erin Burnett. "We’re well over 65,000 [donors.] So we’ve actually doubled in little over a month. That’s what we’re seeing in our grassroots activism growth and obviously in the YouTube thing."

The "YouTube thing" refers, of course, to this.

Cain's $3 million intake is more than he raised in the whole third quarter of the year, and gives him resources to spring for paid media and step up his presence in the early primary states. If he wants to do that at some point.

Chickenpoop compared to what Perry and Romney are raising.

What Reagan raised in 1980 was chicken poop compared to what John Connolly spent (Connolly alone did not opt for matching funds). For his $10,000,000 (Big cheesein those days) Connolly got all of one delegate.

OK, General...inform the rest of us what Perry & Romney raised in October...I’m sure you can ask your staff to come up this fairly quickly!

Reagan had the advantage have run before. The GOP almost always goes with the guy who ran before. Of course money isn’t the only factor. If it was Gov. Meg Whitman would be running CA today.

It’s over 9000!

...but seriously, this is great. I’ve tried to make small donations when I can. With any luck, the Cain Train will keep gaining speed.

Herman Cain will spend his contributions wisely - because they come from individuals - from voters. You know the types - those who work for wages - the people whom Herman Cain knows and appreciates.

He doesn’t think it’s chickenshit.

Your comment was offensive.

First Romney peaked at 25% and has held that position for 6 years after losing to John McCain in 2008. Enough said.

The wonderful event that we are seeing is that people/voters are examining the candidates and settling in on Cain. Those who started elsewhere are moving to Herman and won't be moved. His support is grass roots and strong. He will win because the people not the inside the beltway are for him.
I won't vote for Romney.

HAVE raised. I suspect Perry is raising pennies now that he dropped to single digits in all the polls. And Romney money has more to do with his $190 million inherited bank account then anything honest.
