Cain momentum continues; South could be key

Herman Cain's rise in the polls appears to be no fluke. Unlike some other Republican presidential contenders who have flamed out fast after auditioning as the conservative antidote to Mitt Romney, Cain is still riding high atop public opinion surveys. "They said I was the flavor of the week," the Georgia businessman said at an appearance Friday on a campaign swing through Alabama. "But four weeks later the Cain campaign still tastes good!" Cain lacks the money and organization of his top-tier GOP competitors. But, so far, he's survived several high-profile campaign blunders and an onslaught of attacks on his signature 9-9-9 tax overhaul plan. And despite the sudden rise to the top tier of the GOP, Cain is still doing things his own way.

RINOs are the right wing of the Democrap Party.

Much to your credit, that's about correct.

They do not comprehend grass roots, tea party...

Now, Perry and Obama, there’s a Saturday Night Live skit in there somewhere! That would either be the most boring debate or the most hilarious!

“Conservatives can coalesce around Cain or Bachmann”

Better yet, Bachmann and Santorum should call it a day. their backers, paltry in percentage as they are (2-5% each), would likely gravitate to Cain. That could make the difference in close primary states.

As for $, at last report, Cain was pulling in around $1 million per week. That probably will contine to rise as donors take a good look at him.

Go Herman!!

Barbie Doll. A woman is poised and polished and all you can see is a Barbie Doll? Maybe you’d like most women pols to look like Hillary - dirty hair, overweight and a wardrobe straight from the House of Robert Mugabe!

I’m not talking about her looks. She doesn’t always come across as though she has a firm grasp of the issues.

Then why use the words Barbie Doll? That implies you think of her as a plastic mannequin rather than a real woman.

I might add that former Congressman Duncan Hunter (the finest Reagan-Republican President that America was too blind to see, let alone elect), originated the phrase 'The Kennedy wing of the Republican Party' which pretty much sums up RINOs and their uselessness.

I think most people would get the term as I intended, that of a young woman who is giving the impression that she may be out of her depth in terms of her aspirations.

The male equivalent would be Ken. :)

I honestly believe she really wasn’t running to be the Republican nominee as much as she has been running to simply raise her profile to improve her position in the House, as Santorum ran so he can get back in the game to get re-elected.

Its his positive attitude and optimistic spirit. She doesn’t have that. She comes across plastic. Don’t get me wrong I like her but that is just the perception I have heard.

Sounds like an apt description of Rick Perry!

What turned me off from Michelle was her habit of trying to be too cute, like the 999 flip to 666. And her loud laughing at Huntsman’s 999 sounds like the price of a pizza. They can joke all they want but they never brought forward a plan that scraps the current code which everyone outside of politicians and accountants are for.

The final straw came when she tried to say the 999 was nothing more than a VAT Tax. That was an outright lie, period. If she thinks the educated conservative electorate is that stupid, then she and her staff ought to remember that when pointing a finger at anything, there are three other fingers pointing back at them.

This opinion is from someone who sent money to her for her last election. One thing I would support is her becoming Speaker if she would get back on the conservative farm and get rid of her awful cast of advisers that started with Ed Rollins. When she made the announcement about him becoming her campaign manager, the money stopped from me.
