" ... he plans to "dial back" his campaign and media appearances in order to avoid missteps."

It's a damn shame when a Republican candidate has to live in constant fear of the MSM "gotcha" moment. He simply needs to stay within friendly territory and screw the alphabet media complex.

BTW I love the cigarette smoking commercial. Pure genius! Pure Cain!

Oh, and I don't believe he said it for a minute. lol

I love Mr Cains “Citizen Cain” ciggie ad, but he has not had to worry about “gotcha” moments from the media in the least.

Mr Cain has been on a media cakewalk.

I think this is a huge mistake......

I think he will do fewer national media interviews but step up his local appearances. A NRO article today says he plans to start doing town halls in NH and IA.

Hey, I've been worried, too. But it's Herman's campaign and he'll do it the way he wants. Hasn't worked out too bad so far.

Did you know that if you stick your ear over a toilet bowl, you can actually hear the ocean?

That statement has more credibility than ANYTHING Politico or the AP will ever report. They are clearly enemies fighting against our country.

Having said all of that, if Cain is “dialing down” for any reason at this time, it could very well hurt him.

I want Cain to do good and keep doing good, but those who argue that he is somehow bulletproof, and continuously make excuses for him, insulting anyone that may be even the slightest bit critical of him, are doing Cain a disservice and they brand themselves as fools.

Cain is a very good, talented and well intended man. Cain seems to be a conservative and he is an easy man to like, but as for many of his rabid supporters-—not so much.

First: Newt/Cain

Second: Cain/Newt

Third: I would vote for a ham sandwich over that corrupt, racist and filthy muslim bastard son of a communist whore. He may be “cleaned up”, he may even be “articulate”, but he is still a POS trying to deliberately destroy my country.

Fourth: I want to vote for a proud country loving AMERICAN.

His campaign said he was going to do fewer events in order to make sure he got more rest, in essence. He has been keeping a very challenging schedule (despite the LSM wailing that he’s “not serious”) and, with his poll results and name recognition levels achieved, why not start to pace himself better?

I doubt Cain said the reason was to avoid missteps. Although that’s basically the reason Perry gave for declining to do any more debates after this next one.

Personally, I don’t see anything with pacing yourself once you’ve gotten the game under control, but still have three quarters left to play.

We haven’t even held one primary yet. I don’t see this as the home stretch by any means.

I really don’t care what “they” say. It’s all yammering into the wind.

Also, this man is a cancer survivor. There’s no reason to run himself into the ground.

He can campaign very well and effectively without going 24/7 and constantly traveling.

Where did you see that Perry has “declined to do any more debates after this next one”?

Dialing back one’s frenetic schedule does not equal hiding.

More either/or thinking. Not good.

If you were working 80 hours a week and you “dial back” to working 60 hours a week, is that “hiding”?

Seems to me you may be making a big assumption about what “dialing back” means in this context.

If you were working 80 hours a weeks and you “dialed back” to 60, would that somehow be ruinous?

I don’t think so.

Look Perry supporter, you could give a link to your millions of words diatribe. If people want to look at a post that is longer than the History of the third Reich, then give them a decent warning, and quit clogging bandwidth.

Your post to me is ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. Give the bottom line, or people will scroll down to a more succinct poster.

I think the article is BS. He’s holding a series of town halls in each of the critical primary states and is definitely in this to win.

Enjoy your rice pizza.

The restaurants (Godfathers) serve a wide variety of pizzas, breadsticks, cookies, and pastas, and have an expansive salad bar and buffet. They offer four different types of crust: Original, Golden, Mozza-Loaded, and Thin. The chain has recently introduced gluten-free pizzas, made from rice flour.

Mmmm mmm authentic yommy.
