Just can’t get why all this enmity toward Texas..This isn’t the first time I’ve seen it.

I’ve saying the following for a couple of weeks now:

Understand something, folks...

Cain, like Sarah before him, is an existential threat to the Democrat Party’s very existence.

Without the slave black vote, Democrats become a smear in the pages of history, and they know it.

Cain’s Plantation Rhetoric has them in a real tizzy, because it’s based on rhetoric that DEMOCRAT Radical Blacks use to silence dissent from other blacks, very effectively.

Now that Cain has become a real threat to Obama, the power base of the Race Hustlers, and the Dems inner-city vote, HE MUST BE DESTROYED.

The gays running the New York Times know this, and the queers at CNN and MSNBC know this, too.

Get ready for Cain to be Palin’d, and you won’t be hearing a SINGLE cry of “RACISM!” from any of the usual suspects, either. After all, he is just an escaped slave from the Democrat Plantation.

I'm saying this again, that woman is dumb as a bag of rocks - for a state coordinator for Perry's campaign to openly admit three days ago to have knowledge of a Politico operation again Cain....how can anybody be theat freaking stupid?

Whoever this Shawnna L.M. Bolick is, hope she enjoys having her name in the news, because people are not going to ignore her talking about a Politico operation three days before it happened. And if she knew, others probably did.

“They’re going to come after me more viciously than they would a white candidate,” Cain responded. “You’re right. Clarence Thomas. And so, to use Clarence Thomas as an example, I’m ready for the same high-tech lynching that he went through — for the good of this country.” Cain smiled broadly. “I’m ready for the same high-tech lynching.”

I would remind you that it was Governor Rick Perry himself who brought up the topic of secession originally during some impromptu comments he was making.

Rick Perry was never against secession and that was just slander made up by the media. He would never support secession according to the Governor's website.

This smear on Cain was most likely Romney’s camp. They did the same thing to Palin. But, I remember Cain saying he would be VP to anyway but Perry because of a painted rock that Perry had nothing to do with. I really hope this lying BS stops and know it’s Obama and Romney they need to go after.

This smear on Cain was most likely Romney’s camp.

Rick Perry's Arizona coordinator was publicly talking about this three days ago. As much as it sounds like something Romney's camp would do, the smoking gun is being held by Perry's campaign.

Unless Politico just likes to contact random state coordinators for Perry.

Yeah, it would be GOP oppo research that would have been given to Politico, with the timing making it more likely from the Perry than the Romney camp.

But since it likely happened, it was likely to get out there at some point.

To me, it seems like this has Karl Rove’s fingerprints all over it. It reminds me so much of the 2000 election cycle when the ugly whispering campaign started the rumor about John McCain having an illegitimate black baby. That one was reputed to have come out of the Bush camp, via his campaign “architect”, Karl Rove. Of course, Rove is in the tank for Romney, so it could be a joint effort. It’s interesting to note the common denominator of playing the race card.

Are you talking about McCain’s adopted daughter from Bangladesh? She may have been born illegitimately, but I’ve never heard anyone mention anything about her birth parents.

That was the rumor-mongering during the 2000 primaries, that McCain had fathered an illegitimate black child. I just did a quick google check to see if there were still articles about it. There are. It was a well-known smear campaign, and often attributed to Rove.

I don’t know if anyone has mentioned it before this post....proudly posting without reading the entire thread. ;o)

He most likely had Director’s and Officer’s insurance, and the insurance company is in charge of the direction of any lawsuit.

More times than not, it’s in the insurance company’s best interests to settle.

With a “five figure” settlement, I would think that there was nothing there, and it was a waste of everybody’s time.

What they tried to do to Clarence Thomas is what they did to Robert Bork. It’s not about race. If Cain were liberal or moderate, liberals and moderates would be thrilled with him. It’s his conservatism that is the problem.

Cain is playing the race card: They’re being so mean to him, he says, because he’s black. He should stop. America has come far in race issues; it would come farther yet if certain people did not insist on seeing society’s problems - or their own - through the prism of race.

"What Bush did to McCain in the 2000 S. C. primary"

I'm not saying any of it is true or not but this blog post describes the accusations against the Bush campaign pretty well. Rove was accused of orchestrating it.

“Cain is playing the race card...”

So, when Clarence Thomas was accused of sexual harassment, among other things, with no evidence whatsoever, he should stop, and we should move on with our lives?

Lordy! What they did to Clarence Thomas had everything to do with his race! He is a BLACK CONSERVATIVE!

This is such old news.

I didn’t like it then, and I don’t like it now.

However, there are more pressing issues.

Like...is Herman Cain a racist? lol
