Terrified Liberals Accuse Herman Cain of "Inappropriate Behavior" With "Two Women" (Lubbock Online)
Lubbock Online ^ | 31 October 2011 | Mr. Conservative / Lubbock Online

Posted on 10/30/2011 10:19:37 PM PDT by AmericanInTokyo

Terrified Democrats moved into full attack mode against Herman Cain on Sunday. Politico reported “two women” in the 1990s “accused Herman Cain of inappropriate behavior.” The accusations are thus far vague, non-sourced, unsubstantiated, and reminiscent of the viscous Democratic attacks on Clarence Thomas.

Herman Cain came out on top in the Des Moines Register poll released Saturday night. The Hill reported,

Businessman Herman Cain and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney are the front-runners for the Republican presidential nomination in Iowa, according to a Des Moines Register poll released Saturday night.

Cain, who has shot to the top of national polls as well, earned 23 percent support of likely caucusgoers, and Romney has 22 percent support, the Register poll found.

With little more than two months before Iowa holds the first vote of the presidential contest, the rest of the GOP field trails by at least 10 percentage-points in the state.

Herman Cain has not been campaigning in Iowa since June and has far less campaign cash than Romney. The Des Moines Register poll verifies the fact that Herman Cain is viewed as an honest man of solid character and is greatly admired by Conservatives and Moderates. Such men in the minds of the Left are dangerous. As Herman Cain is a Black man descended from slave ancestors, Cain is now stunning the already terrified Progressive Left.

Herman Cain is a strong Conservative Black man. Like Clarence Thomas and Allen West, Cain is feared and hated by the Progressive Left Democrats who still think Blacks have no right to be rich, successful, or Republican. The Civil Rights laws that were intended to protect Blacks from Democrats have no effect in restraining the raging passions of the fearful Progressive Left.

Politico reported that two women had been apparently fired from their jobs at the National Restaurant Association in the 1990s. There were apparent complaints from these women of some “inappropriate behavior” at that time on the part of Herman Cain. The behavior by Cain was apparently “not overtly sexual” but made the women “uncomfortable and that they regarded as improper in a professional relationship.” These allegations could result from just about anything from seeing Herman Cain picking his nose to thinking Cain was passing gas in an elevator.

Newsmax.com reported late Sunday evening, “Politico, citing anonymous sources, reported that:” ■The women complained of sexually suggestive behavior by Cain that made them angry and uncomfortable. ■Incidents included conversations allegedly filled with innuendo or personal questions of a sexually suggestive nature and “physical gestures that were not overtly sexual but that made women who experienced or witnessed them uncomfortable and that they regarded as improper in a professional relationship.” ■The two women signed agreements with the restaurant group that gave them financial payouts to leave the association. Both women received separation packages that were in the five-figure range. ■Cain, who has been married for 43 years, told at least one campaign staffer this year about the possibility that claims of sexual harassment could surface. He described it as a case in which he fired an employee in 1990s and the woman alleged sexual misconduct or harassment. ■Cain said he was “vaguely familiar” with the charges, according to his spokesman J.D. Gordon. But his campaign repeatedly declined to respond directly to Politico about whether he ever faced allegations of sexual harassment at the restaurant association. ■The chair, vice chair and immediate past chairman of the National Restaurant Association board of directors at the time of Cain’s employment there each told Politico they hadn’t heard of any complaints.

The Left has moved into full attack mode against Herman Cain. The Left can handle a White Moderate male like Mitt Romney. The Left cannot handle a Conservative Black male, descended from slave ancestors, who dared to rise from humble beginnings to achieve the American Dream.

It is absolutely terrifying to Progressive Left Democrats that a Black man would not only dare to be Conservative and successful but would have the audacity to run for the office of President of the United States of America.

I’m not decided on any candidate(except Romney), but any camp that even tacitly backs this crap is officially DOA with me.

Yes I did that and looked at that website when they sent my wife to Honolulu last January. It was snowing in Atlanta so why not go?

I’m trying to figure a way to sell everything and live there.

It’ll be Carl from Honolulu from then on, although I’m thinking I’ll have to give up my longest lived freeper tag.

What it is, is classic SAUL ALINSKY (p. 127 to be exact). Here's the rub:

"The second rule is: Never go outside the experience of your people. When an action or tactic is outside the experience of the people, the result is confusion, fear, and retreat. It also means a collapse of communication, as we have noted. The third rule is: Whenever possible go outside of the experience of the enemy. Here you want to cause confusion, fear, and retreat. [1]"

They know a great segment of the voters who a) turn out in the primaries and b) who might tend to vote for Cain would be moral conservatives, those who would be disgusted and would drop their support of Cain ASAP if the "charges" were somehow shown to be true. So, what do they do? They pick and issue such as this (actually a dead, non issue), to strike at the core of his base, sow fear, distrust and confusion. They would not have chosen lets say back taxes, or military service, or something like that. They had to pick a much deeper moral issue to sew their dark deed. In this sense, they are much like Satan, the Grand Accuser.

This is how they operate. It MIGHT be from one of the RINO camps, I am inclined to think that it comes from the DNC and Obama folks just by its nature. It has been well cultivated and sitting in waiting to be released at the opportune time. They do not want to run against Cain, so this might be the best time to whittle him down a bit. Well, we will know soon, because the other GOP candidates are going to have to say something about this one way or another in the current news cycle. Watch what they say very closely. (Ron Paul already did and changed the subject and said it was a non-issue, at least he had the decency to do that.)

That would be quite the move, although every time I hear of 'Marietta' (Georgia I presume?) I think of the old NWA wrestling federation with Gordon Solie hosting the matches from on the 'Wrestling News Network', lol

Oh yes, I’m a Georgian to be sure, born and raised in Savannah, my family came with Gen. Oglethorpe in 1773, we were debtors and were for the prison if we’d not gone to the colonies.

It worked out well for us however. My great great great grandfather invented the first steamship to cross the atlantic, we’re damned proud of that guy.

I’m ashamed to say that that’s our last really great claim to fame. I’m just a retired architect and structural engineer seeking to bring conservatism to the idiots out there.

Where were they all when Bubba Clinton was running and every week there was another “Bimbo Eruption”? Character didn't matter then and we're supposed to believe the Libs suddenly have a moral code? Next thing we'll hear is what Cain did or didn't do in grade school. Then they'll dig up high school, then college “dirt”. Funny that they don't seem to have a problem with Obama executive privileging all his school records. The hypocrisy is piled high.

Which means there weren’t any. The left is so predictable.

It SHOULD be a non-issue. Everyone - including us - should ignore it as the desperate, rumormongering tactic it is.
