Terrified Liberals Accuse Herman Cain of "Inappropriate Behavior" With "Two Women" (Lubbock Online)
Lubbock Online ^ | 31 October 2011 | Mr. Conservative / Lubbock Online

Terrified Democrats moved into full attack mode against Herman Cain on Sunday. Politico reported “two women” in the 1990s “accused Herman Cain of inappropriate behavior.” The accusations are thus far vague, non-sourced, unsubstantiated, and reminiscent of the viscous Democratic attacks on Clarence Thomas.

Herman Cain came out on top in the Des Moines Register poll released Saturday night. The Hill reported,

Businessman Herman Cain and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney are the front-runners for the Republican presidential nomination in Iowa, according to a Des Moines Register poll released Saturday night.

Cain, who has shot to the top of national polls as well, earned 23 percent support of likely caucusgoers, and Romney has 22 percent support, the Register poll found.

With little more than two months before Iowa holds the first vote of the presidential contest, the rest of the GOP field trails by at least 10 percentage-points in the state.

Herman Cain has not been campaigning in Iowa since June and has far less campaign cash than Romney. The Des Moines Register poll verifies the fact that Herman Cain is viewed as an honest man of solid character and is greatly admired by Conservatives and Moderates. Such men in the minds of the Left are dangerous. As Herman Cain is a Black man descended from slave ancestors, Cain is now stunning the already terrified Progressive Left.

Herman Cain is a strong Conservative Black man. Like Clarence Thomas and Allen West, Cain is feared and hated by the Progressive Left Democrats who still think Blacks have no right to be rich, successful, or Republican. The Civil Rights laws that were intended to protect Blacks from Democrats have no effect in restraining the raging passions of the fearful Progressive Left.

Politico reported that two women had been apparently fired from their jobs at the National Restaurant Association in the 1990s. There were apparent complaints from these women of some “inappropriate behavior” at that time on the part of Herman Cain. The behavior by Cain was apparently “not overtly sexual” but made the women “uncomfortable and that they regarded as improper in a professional relationship.” These allegations could result from just about anything from seeing Herman Cain picking his nose to thinking Cain was passing gas in an elevator.

Newsmax.com reported late Sunday evening, “Politico, citing anonymous sources, reported that:” ■The women complained of sexually suggestive behavior by Cain that made them angry and uncomfortable. ■Incidents included conversations allegedly filled with innuendo or personal questions of a sexually suggestive nature and “physical gestures that were not overtly sexual but that made women who experienced or witnessed them uncomfortable and that they regarded as improper in a professional relationship.” ■The two women signed agreements with the restaurant group that gave them financial payouts to leave the association. Both women received separation packages that were in the five-figure range. ■Cain, who has been married for 43 years, told at least one campaign staffer this year about the possibility that claims of sexual harassment could surface. He described it as a case in which he fired an employee in 1990s and the woman alleged sexual misconduct or harassment. ■Cain said he was “vaguely familiar” with the charges, according to his spokesman J.D. Gordon. But his campaign repeatedly declined to respond directly to Politico about whether he ever faced allegations of sexual harassment at the restaurant association. ■The chair, vice chair and immediate past chairman of the National Restaurant Association board of directors at the time of Cain’s employment there each told Politico they hadn’t heard of any complaints.

The Left has moved into full attack mode against Herman Cain. The Left can handle a White Moderate male like Mitt Romney. The Left cannot handle a Conservative Black male, descended from slave ancestors, who dared to rise from humble beginnings to achieve the American Dream.

It is absolutely terrifying to Progressive Left Democrats that a Black man would not only dare to be Conservative and successful but would have the audacity to run for the office of President of the United States of America.

On the heels of the persistent trashing of Herman Cain and and the apparent elimination of Sarah Palin have come recent puff pieces on Hillary Clinton by Politico and Time (see http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2800212/posts ).

The Democratic Party may be taking out insurance against the likelihood of things continuing to go from bad to hopeless for Obama’s chances. The scenario is a Hillary vs Romney presidential election. Conservative Republicans stay home again as they did in the last time the Repubs ran a RINO, while Team Soros patches things up with the far left.

They are going after Cain because they know he has the best chance of beating Obama, otherwise they wouldn’t even bother trashing him. They fear him, they DONT fear Romney because Romney is the White Obama..Cain on the other hand is a TRUE Conservative who speaks his mind, they are deathly afraid of him so they make up these lies about him. I don’t give a rats ass what kind of BS they make up about Cain he has my full support

"Viscous" is an excellent if unintended description of this crap - as in liquid manure.

“I’m ashamed to say that that’s our last really great claim to fame. I’m just a retired architect and structural engineer seeking to bring conservatism to the idiots out there.”

No, Carl - from what you sound like in your postings, I’d say that your family’s “last really great claim to fame” is YOU :-)

“Everyone - including us - should ignore it as the desperate, rumormongering tactic it is.”

You’re right - it’s just that the media won’t allow it. Whore-aldo already did almost half a show about it tonight, trying to trump it up into “breaking news”. One can only imagine what Monday’s “journalists” will do with it.

On the one hand, it’d be great for Herman & co. to just ignore it. On the other, I don’t think they’ll be given that choice.

You’ve nailed it here. What determines sexual harassment? A women can make a claim of being made to feel uncomfortable by almost anything a man says to her which can be misconstrued to be of a personal nature in even the smallest of ways.

I worked with a guy who was hailed on the carpet for telling a women he worked with she looked really good in the dress she was wearing. The women claimed the guy was “coming on to her” Well you know what? Maybe he was and what the hell is wrong with that anyway? How can a guy know if ANY women will be offended by anything said to them until it is said?

We’re not talking about groping or exposing ones self here are we? This is the most obvious politically motivated attack I have witnessed in years and an eevn more blatant show of hypocrisy and bias.

I'm sorry, but "viscous" attacks?!

I.e. "high-viscosity" attacks? Did a professional journalist write this?

Regards,

LOL. These are just amateurish muckrackers masquerading as “journalists” who just want to run our country into a ditch and turn it into a Cambodian-style Communist Killing Fields at the end of the day. That’s all. Nothing more to see, move on folks.

I never dawned on me that the although the democratic playbook requires you to label a conservative as stupid and cruel it would be racist to call a black man stupid. As a result as was the case with Thomas it seems it is OK to label a conservative black man as cruel and a predator.

the dems have a huge problem because if the Black dem base figures out that a CONSERVATIVE balck could pull them out of despair, then the dem hold on the black bloc is up for grabs…..

Let’s see Politico go after 0bama’s drug and homosexual trysts with Larry Sinclair since they’re nosing around for dirt.

Absobleepinglutely. I don’t want to hear all about some suggestive comment, when people lost their LIVES to protect obama’s sexual orientation and recent drug abuse. Crack cocaine and service in back of the limo? Not Herman Cain.

Sheeeeyit.

This is a country where you can get slapped with a sexual harrassment lawsuit if you tell a woman her hair looks nice or say something "provocative" like, "Good morning, young lady".
