Herman Cain has been taking heat for his response to questions about Politico's story on alleged sexual harassment. But today on Morning Joe, it was Politico's own Jonathan Martin, lead author of the story, who was being evasive about the details of the allegations against Cain.
Incredibly, when Willie Geist asked him to describe specifically what Politico is accusing Cain of having done, Martin hemmed, hawed then ultimately said "we're just not going to get into the details of exactly what happened with these women," beyond the sketchy generalities in the Politico story.

It looks like time for Herman to file the old libel lawsuit against these bums.
Just look at him. His facial expressions look like those of a liar and a smear merchant.
People like this have no shame.
Despoil a man’s reputation with BS, and then get on a morning talk show with nothing.
He looks like a good candidate for a Romney White House Press Secretary. I wonder if he was already promised the job? Na, knowing Romney the job was only implied and the little weasel jumped on board the Weasel Express without reading the fine print.

Martin doesn’t HAVE any “details”, but would be happy for you to assume the worst.
He’s in the smear and headline business.
Facts and details aren’t necessary.
That's the way you talk when you're acting as a spokeman for someone, a third party.
I think we’ve seen this crap before with another prominent conservative black man...
The left and their ideological “father” really aren’t very creative, are they?
True, False or Hit Piece .... it will play out and Cain will
have to address the issue personally, not his spokesperson.
Cain will probably be given that opportunity today.

Politico's Jonathan Martin declared Cain guilty for refusing to answer his yes/no question :” Have you ever been accused ...?”
Scarbouro who has been campaigning for Romney on his show for months declared the Cain candidacy dead (for the non-answer) and Romney the obvious winner, just like he told us it would be...
The CSPAN NOW callers flooding the lines with calls like “Politico wouldn't make this up” and “I know this is true it happens all the time”
The liberal Clinton defenders claiming :”This is a private matter none of our business” are no-where to be found.
I don't immediately see how this hurts Cain, except with those RINOs ("only Romney can beat Obama' gang) already in the Romney tank.
I do not think there is anyone paying attention to Herman Cain that did not know this was a possibility. Watching Ted Kennedy and other “moral police” go after Clarence Thomas was disgusting. The claims made by employees can be real or bogus. Either way there is a payout. One famous company had a severly impaired alcoholic female working in a highly paid sensitive position. There was no chance of rehab or intervention and she was screwing up big time.
They had no choice but to terminate.......but wait..she was also a lesbian. You guessed it. A deal was worked out for an enormous severence package and a letter of recommendation for her
next position ( which she had already aquired). You cannot just release someone these days. It is a lawyer game with back room deals struck betweeen parties. The hint of Mr Cain being a bad boy is damaging. Unless the reporter can bring forth proof, he is nothing but a man doing a hatchet job for another political figure. Who?
