Cain Sings Away Troubles With Gospel Tune at National Press Club
Newsmax ^ | 11/31/11 | Martin Gould

Embattled presidential candidate Herman Cain decided to try to sing away his blues during an appearance at the National Press Club today.

The former pizza magnate burst into an a capella rendition of a gospel song as questions about alleged decade-old claims of sexual harassment swirled.

Saying he wanted to share his faith with the assembled reporters, Cain used his rich baritone voice to nail a verse from the Dottie Rambo number “He Looked Beyond My Fault and Saw My Need.”

Hildy was making the same arguments and using the same anti Christ religious bigotry although more undertoned and less pronounced against Governor Palin more than a year ago.

that should tell you all you need to know

You can count on the Perry’s and Romney’s to make speeches that use the right words, but they will never take the actions necessary to bring the fiscal house in order.

Cain is the only option for those of us who want real action to be taken that will move this country away from big government and spending as usual.

Ron Paul’s foreign policy is unacceptable and so that leaves me with Cain.

Hildy, Cain is actually so comfortable in his own skin, he can sing about it. In PUBLIC.

That is so amazing, I can hardly believe it. He doesn’t even water it down. Imagine that. A prominant politician who doesn’t apologize for what he loves, or worry what will be thought of him because of it - who doesn’t bow to political correctness.

He just might have the effect of making people of faith feel stronger than ever about their own faith, and even their country.

They have no clue. Cain is a good man and his singing is what makes him unique. The people on here who are saying Cain is finished, or saying he shouldn’t be singing after being accused of harassment have an agenda. They don’t like Cain because he is beating their guy. For those who are incapable of using their brains let me help (and I will type slowly so that they may understand). Cain was accused of a false accusation. He addressed it in the morning, and at the national press club. Issue over. He was asked to sing and he sang. Got a problem with that?

And you are an idiot. He answered the question with a resounding and unequivocable “no.” every time he was asked. So, when you are ready to think for yourself, maybe we can have a productive discussion...but my guess is we won’t.

Indeed. I don’t pay much attention to names here except those that have especially different attitudes/ views. Hildy sets my Nuke Alert off. I’m not a jew, but have Jewish family members. God help them if they think the libs are going to help them. I’m not great at history, but I’m pretty sure the libs and progressives didn’t do much for them.

Since New York City is 25 percent Jewish, those who live here are sensitive to this issue and do not usually lead prayer in the name of Jesus at public events. But I have found that out-of-towners think nothing of it, and I know Jewish conservatives are offended when this happens.

I don’t know what the right answer is. If we worried about offending the atheists, we wouldn’t be able to pray at meetings at all. But a prayer that isn’t specifically Christian at least can include believers of other faiths.

if we give up christian prayer, we are screwed. America has been putting the middle finger up at the REAL higher power. But heres the thing, it works both ways.

Jews and Muslims are free to do whatever they want to do, but they will always have to live with Christ as sort of a roommate in the USA. thats not for me to work out for them

Just a little note: We all don’t believe in Jesus. For example, I am Jewish. I don’t mind anyone praying to the God of their belief. But as President of the US, and the Republican candidate, he should be conscious of that. And before any of you get all uppity up...Just go ahead and ask me again why Jews tend to vote Democrat.

The Founding Fathers did not hide their religious beliefs in private nor official capacity. Hand of the Bible to be sworn in? Initiated by George Washington. Most Christians who have good understanding of what we call the New Testament are not against Jews at all. On the contrary our nations winning of our freedoms were funded in part by the Sons of Israel in the American Revolution. Yes some Christian sects have looked down or still look down on the Jewish. Through out history some very misguided sects have persecuted them as well and they did so in extreme ignorance.

Funding of the Revolution has nothing to do with it. The Jews are our elder brothers, and not the other way around. They are the cultivated olive tree, and we the wild one, as described in Romans, and we are blessed to be joined with them in any way possible.

I understand that well. I also would point out we have had at least one POTUS who was also a preacher. In a very real sense though their contribution in funding of the revolution was a blessing to this young nation. Jews were also among the first too arrive here from Europe.

They asked that he sing which isn’t brought up in this snippet. It makes he sound like he just randomly burst out in song.

I just heard Cain sing on F&F. It sounds so much better than in the You Tube!

I believe you're on to something......if he's unabashedly strong in his beliefs, it just may inspire others to be strong in theirs!

We certainly know the effect Clinton and his "it's not really sex" had on our youth. It would so nice to see a positive influence!

I agree with you both. More and more I’m cautiously letting myself feel that Herman’s meant by God to win, and that He may have answered our prayers to give America another chance because there are still so many millions who love Him (though you’d never know it by watching the corrupt media).

Keep praying for our Republic.

I hope this link works for you - if you haven’t listened to his songs on the gospel CD released in ‘96, these are great:

“You realize that is as insane as the Obamatrons in 2008 who thought he was the messiah. I can’t believe I have to say this, but Cain is just a man, with flaws and all.”

Moses was “just a man”. David was just a boy. The Old Testament is filled with examples of God using ordinary, flawed people to do great things in His name.

I guess there is no song called “Liberals Work for the Devil”.

I can't think of a song that states "water is wet" either.

+1

God forbid we have a leader/president with core values based on the proven Christian traditional value system.
