Is Rick Perry drunk??? Full Cornerstone Speech
YouTube Video ^ | October 29, 2011 | Video

Posted on 11/01/2011 5:26:14 AM PDT by casinva

This is the smear on Governor Perry this week.

It was on FOX News for discussion this morning, and moments are being excerpted in an attempt to show Governor Perry as a drunkard during his speech to this evangelical conservative group in New Hampshire this past week.

Among some very serious and important talk (and some Scripture), Governor Perry lightens up for some jesting.

You'll see a few minutes of the light-hearted areas on TV and the internet as a "drunken Rick Perry".

Make sure you see the entire 25 minute video here of his NH Cornerstone speech to see how impossible it would be to go from sober to drunk to sober to drunk to sober, insightful, and inspiring, all in five minutes time or so, a speech which received a standing ovation by these evangelical conservatives in New Hampshire.

See it ALL here first, and you'll understand if this is all they have on Governor Rick Perry, if that's ALL they can even find, we are in really, really good shape.

See for yourself.

See it ALL for yourself.

Was Governor Rick Perry really drunk this past weekend during a speech in New Hampshire?

I’m afraid the Perry haters only see out of their blind eye.

Not again.
No, I don’t think he was drunk. I think he was trying too hard to be entertaining and likeable.

You’re welcome, hoc!

I don’t think Governor Perry will be getting his own comedic talk show any time soon, but his speech was great, and his message was right on.

It’s no wonder the crowd there gave him a standing ovation.

The good thing is, is this means that they still think Perry is a threat.

He'd make a great president.

Drunk my assfay. He was in a loose and passionate mode in front of a friendly audience. I only wish he’d ditch his handlers and talk like this all the frickin’ time.

Oh no, can't have the truth get out. We have to show only the parts that can be twisted into a sick attack on a good man. Let's stomp all over a good Christian man, let's smear the guy who has done more for pro-life causes then any other.

I don't watch FOX anymore, as a matter of fact I'm thinking of saving about a hundred dollars a month by getting rid of Direct TV altogether.

The Perry haters had better be careful what they wish for - Herman Cain is imploding minute by minute - Perry wasn’t drunk. One by one - each of our conservative candidates are being destroyed.

Who is behind this? I believe it is Romney.

But this might not be a problem for Cain people, Mr. Cain has always - in my view - been running for Romney’s VP. It never has been a serious candidacy - but now he will be tossed by the wayside.

Rick Perry is the only candidate that has the means to defeat Romney, but I’m afraid a lot of Cain’s supporters will go for anybody but Rick - they hate him that much.

No, I don’t think he was drunk at all. But it was a strange, embarrassing performance.

Let me add something to this post. I was a big supporter of FOX back in the 90’s when they first came out. I twisted arms to get COS to carry them and when they didn’t I was one of the first to get Direct TV just so I could get FOX. I convinced about 150 people to write to get FOX. Doesn’t sound like much now, but it was a big deal to them back when the only advertiser they had was the Onion Blossom. I think we’ve been betrayed and I want nothing to do with a station that blatantly lies and presents the news falsely.

ME TOO. There is nothing on cable tv that is worth $100 a month. I'm trying to get news this morning and FOX is talking about beer-flavored ice cream. I can't watch them for more than a minute anymore.

99% of television is pure junk.

“if this is all they have on Governor Rick Perry, if that’s ALL they can even find, we are in really, really good shape”

Between this and the blind-eye comment you people are getting delusional.

I’m not sure where all you have seen this; I do realize the excerpts are viral now, but the smear campaign on Governor Perry today (Tuesday) have been formulating, prominent, and building on the television shows even today.

I believe it helps those who support Governor Perry or those who do not know him to see this OVERALL dynamic speech.

I’m pretty sure many Perry supporters have not seen this video yet.

I’m also sure those who support Governor Perry will appreciate having confirmation that these smears are based on nothing more than 2 to 3 different minutes pulled from a 25 minutes speech that was otherwise a fantastic speech and one that the evangelical conservative crowd accepted well and with a standing ovation.

I agree though with your assessment that he was trying to be entertaining in those spots the excerpts are being taken from.

Perhaps a little comedic drama coaching time with Alec Baldwin should be in the works for Governor Perry? LOL

He was so uncomfortable trying to be “funny.” It’s subjective, of course, but it was embarrassing to me.
