Preface: Gail Sheehy wrote a journalistic piece about George Bush, one of her claims was that she spoke with an anonoymous source that told her, “While governor of Texas George Bush would come in to his office, sleep at his desk in the morning and during the day play video games.’ Now let’s move on.
“You are right I didn’t address the second marriage and so I did a little research and here is what I know. First of all, this is the statement Newt gave regarding his love for country and how it interfered with his marriage.
“There’s no question at times of my life, partially driven by how passionately I felt about this country, that I worked far too hard and things happened in my life that were not appropriate,” he told the Christian Broadcasting Network.”
Another thing I found was really interesting. One of Marianne’s cohorts during these events was Gail Sheehy, who wrote a VANITY FAIR piece called “The Inner Quest of Newt Gingrich.” This happened to be a complete hit on him in 1995 and one of her main sources was Marianne. If you are a conservative you must know a little about VANITY FAIR and the lies that are compiled by this trash publication against Republicans and conservatives. BUT most importantly, GAIL SHEEHY is a far left-wing radical author and journalist. She is a mouthpiece for the left and I only have to ask why would the wife of the Speaker of the House would use Gail Sheehy to “tell her story.” Incidentally, the article was published in 1995 during a six year seperation. They reconciled but eventually divorced in 1999.
That has nothing to do with anything I posted.

She can always give to Sarah-PAC.... when’s the next book or documentary?

First of all, I was responding to Berean Brain’s comment about Newt Gingrich. I never responded to whatever post you may have made until you jumped on mine with slimy attacks on Gingrich that in no way are based on any facts. You are simply repeating precisely what and why the liberals spew lies to people who can not think for themselves. My response had everything to do with your claims that Newt is a “serial adulterer.” Thought maybe you wanted to be enlightened, or maybe not.

all divorces are nasty. But Newt’s took my breath away. I remember the details at the time, and they have not changed.
You really need to do some more research. What you recall is not accurate.
Newt is also sometimes Crazy!
Newt converted to Catholicism in the 2000s, a few years into his third marriage. He was a lax Southern Baptist during his philandering years.
That "dying" wife, his first, initiated the divorce and she is alive and well. Their daughter's account is linked elsewhere on this thread.
Fits in with Newt’s love of low-IQ Third World immigrants and their spawn. Typical Whore of Rome.
