US citizens need to be able to buy land anywhere in Mexico and eventually take over a Mexican state or two to set up the second Lone Star republic.

“If they are such stellar citizens why is the Mexican government working so hard to keep them from returning to Mexico?”

The Mexican government has used immigration to the United States as a revolutionary safety valve for the entire 20th and now the 21st century. The Mexican economy is socialist, meaning it is dysfunctional and will never grow to accommodate the number of people Mexico has. Starving or economically disadvantaged people tend to overthrow oppressive bad governments. By acting as Mexico’s safety valve, the United States deprives the Mexican people of any opportunity to change their government and become wealthy like the United States.

The only real jobs in Mexico are for the state owned Power Company, Phone Company, Oil Company or the government. To get one of those coveted jobs you must pay a bribe. Even to get a job at the Power Company fueling trucks and washing them requires a bribe. (I know some Mexican families.)

The Mexican ideal is to have a job in America and commute home to Mexico. Then, they retire on American Social Security and a variety of American social welfare programs. To maintain eligibility, they keep an address in America after retirement to keep up the pretense that they’re living here so they can collect checks. ACORN operatives set them up and tell them how to work the system. An elderly Mexican man (the father of a friend) took me to a huge California apartment complex close to the Baja border. He explained that the reason the parking lot was nearly deserted was that most of the “tenants” actually lived in Mexico but used these residences to get California welfare. For the cost of a two hour drive four times a month, you can live like a king in Mexico.

Now, the other reason is, the Mexican economy would probably collapse if all that money stopped flowing home to Mexico.

This California welfare fraud is so huge and so obvious that there’s no way the California government is unaware of it. California will have to collapse before they can correct the situation.

They’ve got big money...multiple drug cartel’s money, riding on their illegal immigrants here in the state of Georgia, of course they are concerned - this is their hub!

I wish our American Senators were as protective of us as the Mexican Senators are of illegals.

“A group of Mexican senators announced Tuesday they are preparing to meet with state legislators in Georgia and four other states next month, hoping to head off more stringent immigration laws like the one Georgia enacted this year”

Yeh that’ll work. Getting those illegals out of GA is like a miracle. Its already so much better here.

Whether or not they ‘stay out of trouble’ is not the point at all. What is it about illegal that lawmakers (of all people) don't understand?

Contrary to what zipperheads like Linda Chavez and Michael Medved say, most Americans (including LEGAL immigrants) strongly oppose this cultural suicide.

I don't hear the likes of Linbaugh, Hannity or Coulter say much about it either.

Mexican senators seek meeting with Georgia lawmakers over immigration

Partial transcript of the meeting:

GA Assemblyman: "No, Senator, I'm sorry. You'll have to go through all the normal channels to get your green card, too. I can't get it for you, in exchange for that big sack of Mexican currency."

I see the Mexicans didn’t bring up their own draconian illegal alien laws. I also did see an offer to pay for the services their illegals suck out of the system.

Didn’t Massachusetts recently publish that 1/3 of their health budget goes to funding healthcare for illegal aliens?

They should ask a lot of questions about how Mexico treats its immigrants. Do illegals in Mexico get welfare, free schools and free ER visits? Do they get to protest to get more? (it is a felony for foreigners to even attend a political rally in Mexico)

They are just hypocrites.

“If they are such stellar citizens why is the Mexican government working so hard to keep them from returning to Mexico?”

On the surface it simply appears as if it's about wanting to "do those jobs Americans won't do." What most Americans fail to grasp is the strategic objective: a demographic shift throughout this country so significant over time that the cessation of U.S. territory to Mexico will be inevitable. Look at the increasing radicalization of some of the hispanic population in this country... each year the calls for "reconquista" grow louder.

The senators plan to share information with state lawmakers that shows illegal immigrants generally stay out of trouble and contribute to the economy while they are here.

Does this make any sense? Would our congressmen go to states, provinces or prefectures in other nations and say, don't worry about these millions of Americans violating your immigration laws, they otherwise stay out of trouble and contribute to your economy?

Two responses to these Mexican senators:
1. your unemployment rate is over 3% lower than ours.
2. your economic growth rate was 5.5%, more than twice ours.

Sounds like a good reason for Georgians to stage a little peaceful protest to let them know how we feel...

Do you realize that there is still no actual right of political speech for foreigners , and I mean foreigners that have entered their country legally, with all the necessary documents, - down there in Mexico??

As soon as you, as a *legal* immigrant, start speaking out against government officials, actions, and /or policies, - the Mexican government has the right to throw you out of the country.

I hope to G*d that these state legislators tell the Mexican Senators to go to mind their own damned business.
