Oakland developer Phil Tagami is used to working behind the scenes to broker some of the biggest deals in town. Late Wednesday, he was using different persuasive skills - holding a loaded shotgun to scare away rioters trying to get into a downtown building.
"We had people who were attempted to break into our building," the landmark Rotunda Building on Frank Ogawa Plaza outside City Hall, Tagami said today. He grabbed a shotgun that he usually keeps at home, went down to the ground floor and "discouraged them," he said.
No police were in sight, he said.

They want martyrs, yes, but they want the police to do the shooting, not a private citizen, even if he is a “one percenter”. Even the brainless left has enough sense to know that the public would sympathize with the property owner over the rioters, and they couldn’t use it to their advantage.

Yes I really feel for them. They know full well if ANYTHING happens. They may all end up in Prison.

The so-called occupy movement is a combination of two things - it is a demonstration of our dumbed down education system and Obamas community organizing skills. No. It is a socialist/marxist revolution financed by one of the richest men in the world.

I think its important to make sure that police recognize that conservatives offer them a much better choice. We may not love their union but they, and more important, their families, have nothing to fear from us.
I had an Ann Arbor cop living next door for a while and he said he liked it here because he didn’t want his wife a daughter within easy reach of those tolerant liberals.

Yesterday near the the Plaza where all the occupiers are squatting, I approached three uniformed OPD officers and told them I really "appreciate you helping to keep the neighborhood safe."
They need to hear more of that.

If you can get past the usual crap about "right wing nazis" there's actually some interesting stuff here.
nazi schooling
During the war years, the Hitler Youth organization gradually supplanted the traditional elementary and secondary school system and became the main force educating German children. And the quality of that education continually worsened. Students emerging from the elite Adolf Hitler Schools were in superb physical condition and thoroughly drilled in Nazi ideology, but lacked basic skills in math and science.
Nazi scientists, educated before Hitler, complained they were hindered in developing new super-weapons by the recruitment of graduates from the Nazified school system. German Army leaders also complained that young officer candidates displayed "a simply inconceivable lack of elementary knowledge."
They didn't even know enough to capitalize the first letter of a proper name. But for Hitler, these shortcomings really didn't matter. The school system now produced what he needed unquestioning young men ready to obediently serve the Fatherland unto death amid Nazi slogans such as: Believe, Obey, Fight!

Five civilians were hurt along with three police officers, one of whom was bitten by a protester Hopefully they captured the protester and tested him/her/it for rabies.

Yes, I went to work yesterday afternoon at the range with my AR-15 and shot some trap later. I have no doubt that these skills will be needed soon.
