Occupy DC tries, fails to trigger Mob incident
RedState.com ^ | November 5th | Moe Lane

Background: Americans for Prosperity is having its annual summit this weekend, and the Occupy movement decided to send some people over to disrupt it – which is to say, they tried to rush the building. They failed, of course – the American Left simply is not very good at demonstrations* – but in the process of expressing their inner kindergarteners (the ones that weren’t using actual kindergarteners as props/riot shields, that is) some protesters got hit by a car. And we almost had an incident over it – only it turns out that ‘protesters got hit by a car’ actually means ‘some protesters threw themselves in front of a car.’

They say that for better accuracy, it's a good idea to get used to accepting the autocorrect suggestions by just hitting the space bar.

I finally gave up and bought a folding Bluetooth keyboard for my phone. Hated spending the money, but a real keyboard is just plain wonderful. It took me forever to key anything to a client, for instance, because of the keys too close together thing. Since I work out of the client’s office and usually am in several a day, doing e-mail and notes with a keyboard just makes my life so much better.

I will get a folding keyboard if they get Ice Cream Sandwich working on the 5” Dell streak.

Or after I upgrade to the forthcoming Samsung Note. I only have Android 2.2 at the moment - but i could never go back to a smaller screen than 5”.
