THE WOODLANDS, Texas (AP) -- Republican presidential contender Herman Cain grew agitated with reporters after a debate with Newt Gingrich and is vowing to never answer questions about allegations of sexual harassment a decade ago.

Speaking after a one-on-one debate with rival Gingrich on Saturday, Cain cut off reporters who asked about allegations of sexual harassment and suggested journalists who wanted answers were behaving unethically.

“Instead he went on every talk show he could thinking he could convince the media that way, that he was innocent. That only caused more damage.”

It caused him so much damage that he’s the front runner now, and his campaign funds are bursting at the seams.

And keep sticking to discussing the issues that interest Americans.

All he has to do is bear the media fishbowl with good grace, humor and dignity.

It’s a damned if he does and damned if he doesn’t. Might as well just not comment. Glad he called the msm out tonight at the debate. Ha, that’ll set them off.

All he has to do is smile and wave them off. Ronald Reagan did and he cared little of what the media thought.

The Shyster lawyer specializes in federal employee cases.

I suppose that has some risks ~ but not a lot of risks. Kind of a peaceable sort of law practice.

This does far more damage to the credibility of the media then it does to Cain.

So true. We aren't going to win our country back until the credibility of the enemedia is thrown into the toilet where it belongs and flushed multiple times.

Even ObaMao is not the problem; he is merely a very visible symptom of the problem of the American sheeple allowing the enemedia to sway elections.

When that stops happening, we'll have our country back.

The water is full of sharks. When you throw in enough chum, there’s a feeding frenzy. Its not pretty.

For someone in the media’s cross-hairs.

Cain detractors keep saying he handled it poorly, but most people I know felt that his taking it head on, being very visible and not hiding, showed he was trustworthy.

Every time he comments the story is back in the news so I think not commenting is the thing to do. He will have bad press for a few weeks, no big deal.

Check the polling and fund raising data. This isn’t hurting Cain. Even the Washington Post admitted it Friday.

Good.

Cain should respond to any reporters question with: "Why are you covering up Fast and Furious?" or reference some other critical MSM/Rat cover up.

Burn 'em with sound bites.

That was my thought as well!....Id make em go talk to the previous human beings...CHALLENGE the Media!....Make the media run the stories side by side...other then that.....

Republican presidential contender Herman Cain grew agitated with reporters

I agree he should stop talking about it. I didn't see this exchange but I hope it wasn't like the youtube exchange I saw from several days ago. When Cain gets testy he looks awful and it's not a side of him that will get him elected. He needs to keep his cool, snile and say he won't talk about it. It's a matter of style and keeping his composure. I mean if he can't keep his cool over this non-issue then he really has no business running for the Presidency.

Considering Cain’s polling data and fund raising data not very many people agree with you

I think most people understand his reaction. People are completely fed up with the punk behavior of reporters. Screaming the same questions over and over while refusing to listen to the answers is making the media look very very stupid.

There is a reason “Journalists” polls only slightly higher then “used car sales man”. The media is busy reminding people why that is in this matter

I see don't bother you with the facts, Cain ain't your guy so the facts don't matter in your world.

There isn’t anything here in this pseudo-scandal, its just a big nothing.

But it still serves the purpose of deflecting the entire presidential campaign- not just Mr. Cain’s efforts- away from the issues, and that just plays into the hands of the Democrats.

The issues are not Obama’s friends, he’s on the wrong side of every one of them and his friends in the media know that.

It seems pretty transparent why they want to spend so much time talking about vague “charges” against a candidate instead of the economy, foreign affairs or social issues.

Looks like he is a TEXAS attorney - VERY INTERESTING.

Perry can’t debate, so my guess is he does this. Perry just sank to the level of a Mitt Romney in my book.
