Nelson Opposes Jobs Act

Nebraska’s Senator Ben Nelson released this statement after opposing the $58 billion Rebuild America Jobs Act.
“While I agree infrastructure is a priority, the most important step Congress can take to create jobs is to get Washington’s fiscal house in order. Given that, the Rebuild America bill goes in the wrong direction because it raises taxes for billions of dollars in new spending,” said Senator Nelson.

Since the primary side hasn’t shaken out yet, you might want to wait until we know who our nominee is.
There has been nothing that has caught my attention so far and I read the paper daily from front to back. The only reason he was probably elected the last time around is that the state GOP quietly declined to provide much support if any to the GOP candidate and many so-called republicans indirectly or directly supported bad-hair Ben because he convinced them that he was a conservative running as a democrat. Screw the party establishment, both at the state and national level.

He’s an arrogant POS and he is not running all of daily TV and radio advertising just to build a legacy. I also received the same telephone poll three different times last night that were opinion polls for the asshole. The third time they called I asked what the poll was about and they were very evasive. I finally let them have it and told them to tell Ben to shove it and leave the state. He will run.
