The Occupy Wall Street movement may be starting to lose its luster with the American public, with four in ten now saying they have an unfavorable view of the protests, a new nationwide UMass Lowell/Boston Herald poll shows.
The online poll of 1,005 American adults reveals that 35 percent still have a positive impression of the Occupy movement, but 40 percent now say they have an unfavorable opinion. About one quarter of the poll respondents had no opinion or were unsure.

Pix of the 11 people at the Occupy Salem protest (I drove by them on Thu and saw the "End the Wars" and "Occupy Salem" signs). Question, are they camping overnight or just showing up during the day? Then it's not really an occupation is it? Also one sign says "We Are the 99". I thought the 99 was a casual restaurant chain in the Northeast :)
We Are The
:)
“Starting”? Just now it is “starting to lose its luster”?...Huh?
It's hard to get past that first sentence but I will go on to read the article. Maybe a “(barf)” should be added to the title.
The tea-party is rated lower that OWS because the MSM has been far more hostile towards the tea-party movement from the outset—including being complicit in Democrat lies about them—and far more sympathetic towards and supportive of the OWS movement from the outset.
Voting doesn’t change the number of votes listed.
Maybe they locked this one down as it began to go south for them.
It started out with a few college kids complaining about the Wall Street bailouts. OK, no one objected much to that. The Republicans voted against it, too.
The leftists noticed it was actually an attack on the Oboma administration, because they did it.
The radical left moved in to save Oboma. After that, every dysfunctional leftist group on the planet joined in hoping to get some kind of free hand out from it.
There are probably a few original college kids left there, but hey - the rent and food are free, and the drugs/sex are everywhere. PARTY!
As far as a rational movement - they've shot their wad. The movement was over within a week. Now, all they have are lazy squatters and gimmies. They're a disgrace to all of humanity at this point.
Freeped and bumped.
It was 2,500 votes for me, so I think it is working.

I would say it’s working just fine. If you add those that are annoyed with the Occupy movement and those that support the Tea Party you are running close to 70% pretty much disapproving the Occupy movement!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ======================================================= ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So, basically,
68% like Tea Party.
17% like OWS.
3% like both.
11% like neither.
Basically.... Yes, that was my take on it!
:)
Those in favor of the Tea Party standards are way ahead of the protesters or anything else.
