A couple of caveats are in order when reading this breaking story about a woman coming forward in a press conference to accuse Herman Cain of sexual harassment. First, it’s Radar that is reporting the news, and their track record for accuracy on political stories is … less than spectacular, although not entirely bad. The second caveat? Her representation:

The woman, who will be the first to go public on Monday, sought Cain’s help with an employment issue and was allegedly sexually harassed by him. Allred and her client will discuss, in detail, what she alleges occurred with Cain.

Agreed, Whitman had a LOT of flaws and she is not nearly as likeable as Cain. Likeable = teflon, and very likeable = flubber. Bring it on GA, not only are you going to fail you are going to help Cain. Thanks!

If they go on the jerry springer show and admit all the awful things that they claim to have done, a few thousand dollars and you can get a public admission about anything.

I don’t think Cain can withstand this by ignoring it or just brushing it off but he deserves to be able to deal with it as a public admissions such as in what aside from innuendo are these various women claiming and can it hold up to scrutiny
the drip drip is hurting him contrary to what freepers like to think..but he deserves to know what they all claim..it’s ridiculous they can just make claims with no proof
I’m not a Cain man but that is plain wrong.
My main warning with Cain over this was his claim he did not “recall” these incidents from 12-16 years ago when it first surfaced. I don’t believe that and he had to know that if there had been money paid once over this sort of stuff that it would come up eventually.
But still...it’s a shame how corrupt the media is today.
Driving force behind all this is culture war..and folks keep telling us it’s just the economy stupid...these folks fear Cain will nominate that tipping justice to the Supreme Court

Use your common sense. The girl in the Justin B. case is 19 or 20 years old, which would put her at 7 or 8 in 1999.

...you got that right....except that they have been "shopping" for the right price since the first allegations a couple of weeks ago. I guess this woman has been assured that nobody is going to be able to question her to any great extent.
If Cain can file a suit and make this "lady" have to testify under oath, then we could see how far the allegations go....
I’m starting to think this chasing after Herman Cain is more about the media keeping the public from hearing about obama and his administrations scandalous & maybe even felonious behavior involving Fast & Furious and Solyndra, while at the same time taking down Herman Cain.
You all keep bringing up Paula Jones, Kathleen Willey, & Juanita Broaddrick, yet you are treating the Cain women the same way the press treated the Clinton women. You now all believe the Clinton Women were telling the truth. Maybe, just maybe, after you hear the whole story, You may believe the Cain Women are also telling the truth.
Just because it is likely political, (timing, Cain's front runner status, pulling Black votes from Obama), that doesn't necessarily mean the accusations aren't true. BOTH could be true.
Blindly vaulting to Cain's defense is just as bad as assuming that he must be guilty.
I'll wait for the facts to come out, then decide.
Well, though, intentionally bringing on a parade of false accusations really isn't vetting. It's pure, unadulterated propaganda. The intent is not to INcrease our knowledge of the candidate, but to DEcrease our knowledge of him. In that sense, it is anti-vetting.
Or perhaps we could call it bed-vetting, because the LSM's collective mind (pun intended) appears not to have progressed beyond the emotional maturity of a three year old.
