A former USAID worker claims Herman Cain asked her to set up dinner with a woman who attended a speech he gave in 2002, the Washington Examiner is reporting tonight.

The worker - 40-year-old Donna Donella, of Arlington - told the paper that the moment came after Cain gave a paid speech in Egypt that year. A woman in the crowd posed a query to Cain during the speech, the Examiner said. Continue Reading

Donella told them “And after the seminar was over, Cain came over to me and a colleague and said, ‘Could you put me in touch with that lovely young lady who asked the question, so I can give her a more thorough answer over dinner?’”

She was "suspicious of Cain's motives and delined to set up the date," the Examiner reporter wrote.

That prompted Cain to reply, "Then you and I can have dinner." Instead, some of Donella's co-workers suggested a group outing.

If Perry found this out this easily, then you can bet the Dems would have found it too. Instead of talking about it now, we’d be talking about it next summer.

I asked a girl out once. That was 20 years ago and the only one accusing me of doing anything wrong is my mother in law.

Sure you got a beer?

It is beginning to look like popcorn time isn't it. I'd like to get back to choosing a nominee but I guess we are in for a steady diet of smear Cain. Oh well.

Sarah Palin, pick up the red courtesy phone please, we have an important message for you.

But now we’re not talking about tax codes or OBama.

I was just thinking... so much for Fast and Furious too.

It has become a major distraction and we are all getting slimed in the process.

The sheeple will gobble this up like candy. Cain is (sadly) done, as the hype media will not let this go. Adultery/harassment is something that just doesn’t go away, even if you are innocent (which I believe he is).

I think the Dem Media is doing a good job of making us all look weak.

We need to focus on Obama.

Bill Clinton who was proven to have raped women was never prosecuted.

Who proved he raped who? Broderick was convincing, but it's not proof.

What a joke! As a married woman, I have had dinner with colleagues of the opposite sex and my husband has too.

What the heck is the problem here???

"Right, 4 Obama zombettes and a ditz that needs money more than her dignity. Without a doubt these 5 should choose the Republican nominee. "

Dude.

I'm not talking about the right or wrong of it.

I'm talking about the political reality. Cain has been assassinated. He's dead.

So Cain likes to flirt. Liberal lesbos don’t know how to handle a flirt. Normal women are flattered and enjoy the attention. I’ve been married 24 years and still enjoy it when a man flirts with me. I am from the south though. We enjoy the company of men down here.

When you’re married, away from home, and the potential meal-mate is an attractive person of the opposite sex, no. You can’t. Unless it’s a group outing.

Otherwise people can say stuff like this. Jesus warned us to shun “even the appearance of evil.”

He’s a married man. He has a problem. All these people are not lying. But he’s slick.

Yeah, they’ve been saying that all week.

But his poll numbers and contributions keep rising.

The Allred case is a JOKE. It is already unraveling and it is only day 1

I don’t care if Mr. Cain has propositioned a hundred women; so far unlike bill Clinton he hasn’t committed a felony, forcible rape. I have been married to the same woman for 35 very happy years, but that doesn’t mean I am adverse to a little harmless flirting. And yes; my wife knows when I am doing it, she just thinks I am being childish

Yes because far worse allegations really damaged Clinton.

As I said on another discussion, many need to grow a spine. Our guys are always going to have some version of this attack. They have successfully knocked out good candidates like George Allen, Palin, and destroyed the reputations of Rumsfeld, Cheney, Bush, and countless others. This is a fact of serving as a Republican, and if we wilt under attack the conservative movement will continue to be diminished.

There is zero evidence of any impropriety by Cain, and until there is, this must be challenged. If it turns out that he was out there chasing women, that might be relevant, but just puts him in the same class as countless other politicians.
