Cain's Conundrum (Interesting Post by black female conservative Tara Wells)
Tara's Two Cents ^ | 11/8/11 | Tara Wells

Words matter in matters of race and sex. Herman Cain probably knows this better than anyone. In fact he made a point of correcting David Gregory’s chosen vernacular on “Meet The Press” when he told the moderator that he preferred to be called ‘black’ as opposed to ‘African’ -American in the context of defining his race. Important distinction.

He can find someone else to throw false allegations toward.

>>>”I have a bad sense of this person”>>>

I do too wolfcreek. It has nothing to do with the sexual allegations because I felt it before this started coming out. I have paid very little attention to the allegations and even have a feeling that they might not be true but something about this man worries me.

We have *ignore* now? 8)

I don't have a problem with people wanting to support their candidate but, not at the disparagement of others.

It’s intuition and it guides me.

I know to not ignore it.

“I flat out have a bad sense of this person.”

Would you want to elaborate on that? Seeking honest input, not challenging you.

Ah but when you WANT to believe the accusations about Cain, no amount of contrary fact matters to you, now does it?

It's the old liberal framed seriousness of the charge trap. Even FReepers fall for it when it suits their agenda.

Well, it's not exactly a happy work environment. We used to be a great office, but it went downhill these past couple of years because of 3 back stabbing liars (the book keeper being one of them, which is why he asked).

He knows he can say the most inappropriate things to myself and co worker, but no one else.....as we do him.

Unfortunately, we don't get any alone time with him any more =(.

I’ve always found “bookkeepers” to be the worst people in any office. I never knew why.

Because they think they’re the boss, want the “power” of boss but not the responsibility of the boss.

Is that it? When I was young, bookkeeping jobs seemed to be the purview of sour, dried up spinsters. I can still remember the horror I worked for at Douglas-Elliman. She probably joined the Turf Club years ago, but I remember her as if it was yesterday.

OMG, you just described my book keeper!!! AND she’s into the occult now. A grown 55 year old woman who wants to be a vampire!!

She started wearing a pentagram and shoved it in my face. She’s also into to spells, incantations, etc.

EVIL woman!

Wait a minute, my mother was a bookkeeper and she was neither a sour and dried up or a spinster. She was a comptometer operator, who spent her days correcting the tally sheets for salesmen who could neither add nor subtract. Only after correcting the men’s mistakes, could she get on with the company books.

...and yes she had lots of problems with the men she worked for. The worst one called her into his office and exposed himself to her. She didn’t file a complaint, she just cleaned out her desk and went home.

Total freaks. And that evil thing has to be near me 2-4 times a week.

I should really start bringing Holy Water to work with me. If I am not catholic, do you think they would give me some anyway?

It’s easy to get Lourdes Water over the internet. Sprinkle it around when she’s not looking.
