If there was a “storm the Bastille moment” these guys would turn the crowd away.

Gilbert and Sullivan musical?

Surrounded by wimmins and HDTV
I smoke the weed and drinka the liquor
While all these peacocks they strut around mee”

A surprise search at an Acapulco prison netted two peacocks, 100 fighting cocks, 19 prostitutes, 100 plasma TVs and two sacks filled with marijuana...

I wonder what a search of MSNBC's New Jersey studio complex would turn up.

Sounds like one way to minimize the number of escapes. Weed, wine and women, why look elsewhere?

“Peacocks, prostitutes found in Mexico prison”

What they don’t tell is is that they were making the prostitutes fight...

Sounds like a democrat dream welfare community.

It also sounds like the next MTV reality show.

From Jersey Shore to prison whore.

OK, so what’s more absurd:

Peacocks, hookers, plasma TVs, fighting roosters, things that ordinary citizens can afford, all paid for by prisoners and their families in Mexican prisons,

OR

Higher education, Ph.Ds for terrorists and the Manson gang, in U.S. prisons, paid for by the taxpayers?

How many in the U.S. can afford to pursue a Ph.D?

The story first references fighting cocks, which makes more sense than peacocks. Probably a translation error resulted in peacocks.

The twelve days of Christmas came early for these inmates.
