Tea Party Rep (Joe Walsh) Blows Gasket at Town Hall Troublemaker: 'This Pisses Me Off!'
Fox ^ | 11/08/2011 | By Lee Moran, The Daily Mail

The bizarre rant from Illinois congressman Joe Walsh came after he was grilled during an informal surgery in a bar about the lack of regulation which ultimately allowed banks to bet against their own customers.

Cutting off the man, the father-of-five yelled: 'I am tired of hearing that c**p. Don't blame the banks... that p***** me off.'

Unfortunately, the banksters, making all these lousy bets on economic trends around the world (derivatives), are part of the problem. When the bets start going bad, the banksters are going to lose money. Notational value of all these bets around the world: up to 1.4 QUADRILLION dollars. Actual value in the end: far below that, I would presume.

Bailouts, anyone?

Joe Walsh needs to chill and acknowledge that the banksters really are part of the problem.

Joe Biden being the exception ;)

Biden's likely just plagiarizing the "Joe" part.

Privatize gains, socialize losses, that’s the bankers’ formula.

As the young woman said to Joe Walsh:

"The banks lent money to people they knew couldn't afford it."

It's called "fraud". And the Banksters' lobbyists knew that they could "persuade" CONgress to pass the losses off to the taxpeasants.

That's just what they did. Imagine that.

It’s about time the true blame for the banking mess is exposed and the ignorant sponges who continue to parrot the lies of the left face more shouting down.

Let me get this straight: Financial professionals (the Banksters) loaned money to people they KNEW couldn't afford it (NINJA loans, liar loans) because it generated fees and bonuses for the banks and the Banksters, and it's the fault of "the ignorant sponges"???

According to your logic, every professional in any field should be able to lie like a rug to their customers to maximize their profits, and if the customers lose out due to the lies and chicanery, they're just "ignorant sponges"...

Look - the problem is that the Banksters have reached the same lofty status that Big Bill Clinton achieved. They're too big to be prosecuted, AND THEY KNOW IT.

The "regulations" are a red herring. It's the "or else" part that's not being enforced.

As an example, Wachovia (now part of Wells Fargo) failed to follow US anti-money laundering laws. You or I would be doing HARD TIME for such violations. Any Banksters at Wachovia or Wells Fargo? Not so much...

How a big US bank laundered billions from Mexico's murderous drug gangs

Have you heard of the Community Reinvestment Act passed in 1979? It all but forced banks to offer loans to high-risk people, or else risk being prosecuted themselves for "discrimination". The banks then said to Uncle Sugar, "Well, are you going to back us up when the inevitable defaults hit?" And Uncle Sugar said, "Of course we will. Utopia here we come!" And it all spiraled downhill from there.
