By now it is abundantly clear that Newt Gingrich is the best debater among the Republican Presidential Candidates. Some of Newts critics will grudgingly acquiesce to this fact, but still brush the legitimacy of the Gingrich candidacy aside, noting that he is an unserious candidate. However, Newts magnificent debating skills, his unmatched knowledge of American and political history, his tremendous command of the issues and his eloquent oratory skills should not be taken lightly

Please don’t start attacking a woman you don’t even know. It does nothing to help your candidate. If I were you, the last thing I would do is bring wives into the discussion. One wife for over forty years versus three wives and the last being a trophy with Tiffany jewels to match. That discussion really does not help Newt one single bit. You aren’t helping Newt.
It is a sign of one thing, you can’t win an argument on the issues. But that goes without saying because Newt runs RINO. A detriment on a conservative forum.
You're a sniveling little troll, aren't you? I predict your stay here won't be continuing much longer.
The Newt who defended Water-boarding last night or the one who is against it?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_positions_of_Newt_Gingrich#Torture
Gingrich has stated he is totally opposed to the United States using any form of torture to obtain information as a matter of public policy, except in cases of grave threats to national security.[107] He believes the use of extreme measures in such cases should be personally authorized by the president. Gingrich does not believe waterboarding is a form of torture, but he said in an interview with Fox News that its still something we shouldnt do.[108] However, he has defended the United States use of enhanced interrogation techniques against specific high-level terrorists, saying they were used for the purpose of saving innocent civilian lives, not for taking them.[10
He passed the question to Newt because they had agreed that at that point in the debate, Newt was to get first crack at ansewering. To think that a CEO would have no idea what defined benefit plans are is ludicrous.
You gain no points for "your guy" by telling tales about the others. Stick to why you believe he is qualified to be President. I would say his performance when in a position of leadership is more telling than what comes out of his mouth at any given time, and with that, Newt unfortunately comes up short.
Except that a couple minutes after he did that, he was able to speak at length about defined benefit plans. You are either ignorant or a liar or both. I've got my money on both.
So which Newt am I suppose to vote for?
The one who talks tough on Immigration reform in Arizona

Or the Newt who promises Hispanic leaders a “Middle way on Immigration”

Newt, Bachmann or Cain would be a fine candidate. Santorum or Paul would STILL be better than Obama. Romney and Huntsman are unacceptable.
So which Newt do I vote for?
The one who says he is been for Entitlement Reform for 15 years?
http://news.yahoo.com/newt-gingrich-wants-entitlement-reforms-did-15-years-223600741.html
or the Newt who called the exact same plan when Paul Ryan purposed it “Right wing social engineering”

Creating a New Civilization: The Politics of the Third Wave
Newt Gingrich Rides the Third Wave
"In 1994, Newt Gingrich described himself as a... fan of the ideas espoused in the book, The Third Wave by Alvin Toffler, in which homosexuality, promiscuity, adultery, divorce, and abortion are all viewed as perfectly normal and even desirable. He said that in order to understand him, you should read the book, The Third Wave by Toffler. This book is written from the perspective of someone who is writing a letter to Americas Founding Fathers, in which he describes the Constitution and the principles of limited government that guided our Founding Fathers as becoming increasing irrelevant, and obsolete, and hence in need of being radically redesigned and replaced!....When Newt Gingrich became the Speaker of the House in 1994, he recommended The Third Wave as required reading for all of his Congressional colleagues!"

Newt's record is as bad if not worse than Romney.
Newt is for amnesty and in June 2011 Debate Newt Gingrich called Americans Heartless for wanting to deport 20 million illegals.
"GINGRICH: No, but let me say this, John. No serious citizen who's concerned about solving this problem should get trapped into a yes/no answer in which you're either for totally selling out protecting America or you're for totally kicking out 20 million people in a heartless way. There are -- there are humane, practical steps to solve this problem, if we can get the politicians and the news media to just deal with it honestly."June 2011 Debate Transcript
I like the Jewish Hournal but I disagree with this editorial. I see why they think Cain is not as knowledgeable as some people, like the Encyclopedia Newt. But having hard cold facts or insurance definitions at a debate is only a part of one’s intelligence. From his past job skills, cain is one of the smartest men in the room. He is a mathematician and a rocket scientist.
He wouldn’t mix up corpsman with corpse man. He wouldnt claim that his plan is the “anecdote” to Obama’s pan (as did perry recently).
And I am insulted that my choice for president was called soft racism. I could not care less what race or sex our president is. My first choice was palin. I believe Cain to be more trustworthy and representative of my ideals than newt Gingrich.
I believe you are taking Herman Cain’s comment of friend or foe out of context.
“G. Gordon Liddy(VeeP)”
Um; correct me if I am wrong; but, isn’t Liddy a convicted felon???
Well I challenge the premise that Newt is the best debater. I personally think he is but that is irrelevant. The question is whether the collective men and women that will vote in the primaries believe it. I submit that people are not objective when it comes to these things and believe what they want to believe. Even FReepers are not always objective and hammer the quys they hate and give passes to those they like. Newt has so much personal baggage I would be stunned if most women would even state that he was the best debater.
Newt will never be elected President so the questions are irrelevant. The candidate we need to rally around is Herman Cain.
He would definitely be better than Obama and may be better than some of the other candidates, but I don't think we know enough about Cain to make an informed judgment yet. We don't need another Goldwater-type campaign that inspires a lot of passionate support but goes down to a landslide defeat.
Newt is an Intellectual Giant, making everyone else feel like a Mental Midget.
He talks the talk but doesn’t walk the walk.
He is not electable.
JMHO
100% agree. Newt is better by far.
I believe we will have huge regrets if we elect newt. He shines in debating but there are very few debates while serving. I’m not satisfied with his decision making. I figure he will have affairs while president, and I’m willing to let that be, but I can’t vote for him over Cain because I don’t trust him to remain a proud conservative or to choose boldness over being adored. He’s too needy.
I do believe Newt was boinking his intern the same time Clinton was getting Lewinskied. History can come back to bite you in the a**.
