Re: The GOP elite pushing Romney - they don't call them stupid party for nothing!!
Ref: Romney in his own words - a compilation of a dozen or more Romney clips ^ | Nov 14, 2011 | Jim Robinson

The GOP establishment elite lining up behind Mitt Romney are either tone deaf or brain dead. They've totally misread the mood of the American people. We the people are fed up with smooth-talking, two-faced, flip-flopping, business as usual big government political whoring and are not going to take it anymore!!

McCain suspended his campaign in 2008 to rush back to Washington to save the world from the great economic collapse that would usher in the Great Depression II. Instead, he delivered America to the Marxist B. Hussein Obama who's ushering in the wholesale wanton destruction of America as a free country.

TARP. The bailouts. The taking of the car companies and giving them to the unions. The Porkulus stimulus package. ObamaCare. Obama's ridiculous war against coal, oil and gas, manufacturing and industry, and against capitalism and freedom itself. The idiotic federal push for a "green economy." The trampling of the constitution. The corruption. The crony capitalism. Big government. Big spending. Big borrowing. Big taxing. DC ramming it down the throats of the American people, despite our protests.

How soon Rove, Krauthammer and the elite GOP ruling class forget. But we are not stupid and we have not forgotten. These are the reasons we the people have risen up against the political class. We the TEA party have protested and rallied in every state and city during the last three years and our rebellion produced sweeping results in the 2010 congressional elections and in local and state governments all across the land.

We have an open rebellion brewing while the GOP fiddles. We're not talking about rearranging the deck chairs or fussing with the details. We're talking about a complete sweep of business as usual scum bucket politicians and their intrusive, oppressive, unelected, unaccountable, unconstitutional federal bureaucracy. We're going to continue building our tea party majority in the House and we're going to take the Senate. And if the GOP leadership gets out of the way, we're going to take the White House. Follow the lead of the GOP and we lose to Obama.

For starters, our goals are to repeal ObamaCare. Repeal Obama! Throw out or flatten the income tax. Privatize social security and medicare. Repeal Dodd-Frank. Shutter the EPA. Repeal the regulations that are killing our economy. Shutter the Commerce dept. Shutter the Education dept. Shutter the Energy dept. Shutter freddie and fannie. Shutter health, education and welfare. Get a handle on the Fed. Secure our borders! Reinstate the constitutional restrictions and limitations on government. Enforce the Tenth Amendment. Return health, education, housing, banking, welfare and all other functions not expressly delegated to the federal government by the constitution to the states and the people. Get the federal government out of our local affairs, out of our business, out of our schools, out of our churches, off our backs and out of our faces!! Set our people free to produce, prosper and live freely as God and our founders intended!!

Romney, as chief-architect and advocate of RomneyCare which directly led to ObamaCare, is not the one to lead this rebellion. Romney swears by TARP, the bailouts, the stimulus packages. Romney lives for BIG government. Look at his record. He still brags today about his anti-liberty, anti-free economy, big government mandated, RomneyCare for Pete's sake. Romney is not the kind of guy who will sweep out the intrusive federal government and shutter entire departments and agencies. He'll do nothing to upset the federal gravy trains of the progressive income tax, medicare, freddie, fannie, banking, the Fed, the EPA, the endless tax laws and regulations and the myriad of corrupt, overbearing, unconstitutional federal ABC departments and agencies that are killing our economy and oppressing our freedoms.

Romney is the establishment's anti-Reagan, anti-tea party, smooth talking, good hair, don't rock the boat, big government guy.

"I was an independent during Reagan Bush. I'm not returning to Reagan-Bush!" --Mitt Romney (angrily)

"In this present crisis, government is not the solution to our problem; government IS the problem." --Ronald Reagan

Conversely, Romney openly declares that only government can solve our problems.

No business as usual progressive RINOs!! No Romney!! No way!!

Long live the TEA party rebellion!!

Long live our free Republic!!

Do you see Mass-Mitt, or ANY of these so called candidates, screaming to order Beltway-RICO-Vampire-Care EXEMPTIONS to EVERYONE, their first day in office, not to just a DISCRIMINATE SELECT.

Precisely. They each play good-cop, bad-cop to each other’s base.

She’s a leftist Democrat who’d be occupying Wall Street if she were in better health.

Holidays must suck for you. The only Rats in the whole family are my wife's grandparents. They are old school Rats and didn't vote for Obummer so they are tolerable and provide an excellent punching bag during Christmas dinner for the rest of us.

They’re a horror show. We have my mom the community organizer, my cousin the Paultard, and my uncles who think FDR is still alive and fighting the Nazis.

If it weren’t for alcohol, I dunno how I’d make it through. It’s one thing to be called a fascist by some random lib online. It’s quite another to be called a fascist by your own family.....

Nonetheless, they’re my family, and goofy or not, I still love them anyway.

I like Newt and know that he can fall into RINO mode and he's let us down many times in the past, but he's a trillion times better than the Marxist and Romney. TEA Party he ain't.

MR. SPEAKER TALKS ABOUT SARAH PALIN:
Title: Newt Gingrich asked about Palin's Experience. Checkmate

I did too, until I started taking a closer look at things (at my husband’s insistence)

Yes, he’s better than Romney, but not tons better.

I would hate to see people ditch the conservative in the race just because Newt is a good debater.

I don’t have to rely on articles from pundits. I recall Newt’s past and his Speakership. He was the DNC-demonic-rat’s first run at a smear machine take-down and they were successful. He beat all but one of the eight-nine “ethics” charges launched against him, and who can ever forget the magazine cover “The Gingrich that Stold Christmas” that hit the news stands “before” Christams?

He’s all too often been too smart for his own good and particularly ours. He’s been lost since he’s been out of office. Writing books, “thinking”, making speeches and finally, putting together a pretty solid plan for the future and a run at the White House.

I’m not going to deal in past actions or short-comings with any of our viable candidates, save for Romney, who’s no different from the Marxist.

The lamestream has already enjoyed a lot of success shredding Herman Cain’s reputation and tearing down Michele Bachmann as some sort of wild-eyed right-wing extremist, blinded by migraine headaches, unable to make proper decisions, when in fact, she’s a rock solid conservative.

Governor Perry hurt himself by himself for the most part and now he’s thought of as dumb, which he’s not.

Pretty soon, we’ll have nobody left but Romney, and I’m not falling for THAT.

Watch Greta’s interview tonight and pray that does a lot of GOOD.

I remember from previous posts of yours that you like him. There is a reason that he polls so low in Georgia - we know him.

In any case, I trust Bachmann, Santorum, even Perry, before Newt at this point.

To each his own.

I’m glad you were only joking. I lost my mother a month ago, and thank God I’d matured enough to appreciate all her good qualities and deep love for me, rather than our differences (which I used to argue when I was young and rebellious). I miss her so much.

Sounds like you’ve also learned just to avoid subjects like politics, but I hear the humor in your writing so it sounds like you two have a great relationship.

Moms are precious and you only get one, so enjoy her as often as possible.

As they say, if the boot is on your neck, does it matter whether its a right boot or a left boot?

To: Jim Robinson; All

Like I’ve said before, many months ago...

I feel like we are once again going to get McCain’d in the GOP nomination...

This is it, this is the last election cycle I feel that I can honestly call myself a Republican...I affiliated years ago because it was the party that identified with MY personal conservative beliefs, more than the opposition...It was that simple back then...

I’m concerned that most would consider me an “establishment” player in the party because of my elected position...What I hung on the end of my name in official capacity used to mean something up to the 2008 elections...And I did everything I could from within the party to effect a change in mindset on issues candidates and incumbent officials held on issues we (grassroots worked so hard to get into the state platforms for canditates and the same to utilize in their campaigns and when they made it to office...

It, unfortunately, has not been all that successful...

I’m not going to hash out those issues again...This is not the forum, and time to do so...

But I will say that if the grassroots, comprised of everyday citizens of this country, like the Tea Party folks, and other conservative individuals and groups, have made their case very well, and the Establishment in the Republican PArty leadership have continued to ignore and placate the base in such a manner since 2004, I’m convinced that this is the last time conservatives are going to put up with that leadership placation and reject the Republican Party outright...

I wish I could see a light at the end of this tunnel, but I feel like some additional lengths of pipe are being put on the end of this thing and our own party is helping with the constructions...

Just my opinion...

We do. The gag gifts have been a running joke for years. I’m hoping to get a Guy Fawkes mask and a Che t-shirt this year. Mom is getting Mark Levin’s new book and perhaps a stylish Herman Cain T.

:)
