In any case though, that is exactly as it should be. Under no circumstance should coaches, asst coaches or ANY adult for that matter, be present in a locker room of young men (or women). The only exception I could find for this is if there is violence being perpetrated on a student by another.

No, but I heard it, and that is what prompted my own memories and then to write them here. It's been 40 years, and I have given it zero thought since then until Rush mentioned it.

In adult men's locker rooms (YMCA, military, fitness clubs etc) there are normally lockers and a long bench between. You do NOT get any closer to another, you pick a locker far from his, turn away, and change as privately as possible. You do NOT prance around, wave it around, or engage in any type of “horse play” which I can only surmise is the homo cover term for getting busted being a homo.
