Something Big Is Coming... and It's Going to Be BAD
Zero Hedge ^ | 1/18/11 | Phoenix Capital Research

Something major is occuring in the markets today.

The US economy peaked in 2007. However, throughout much of 2008, the stock market continued to rally despite the economic collapse as well as the financial system imploding.

Throughout this period the credit markets jammed up and implied something VERY BAD was in the system. However, stock investors continued to pile into stocks because, well, frankly stocks always are the last to "get it."

And when stocks finally did get it... it was quite a thing.

This same environment is occurring today. Only this time the collapse is sovereign in nature: entire countries are going bust.

We have been getting MAJOR warning signs of a collapse for months now. No less than the Bank of England, the IMF, and legendary asset management firm Franklin Templeton have warned that we are facing an epic, hellish crisis.

We got the first taste of this in August when the S&P 500 literally wiped out a year's worth of gains in two weeks The only thing that brought us back from the brink at that time was the belief that the EU mess might be solvable and a coordinated intervention from the world Central Banks.

There is something big coming. Don’t know what but...

Why start tests of the national emergency broadcast system after it has been offline for years?

Out here in New Mexico, a lot of the people work for either Kirtland AFB (in charge of storing our nukes) or Los Alamos or Sandia Labs (who helped design our nukes).

A friend who can’t tell me what he does for a living - except that he works with high powered lasers - was going to be taking a private sector job in PA, but instead has been offered a lot of bucks to stay at his current quasi-government job. Same guy who smiles mysteriously whenever I bring up the California contrail/missile launch. When that happened he got called back from a vacation trip and was unable to come home for over a week.

A relative who has worked high up in security for the labs for years suddenly announced his retirement. Won’t say why, except that “it was time.”

A former roommate who works for NOAA has been put on a special “stand-by” status where he is to drop everything and be at the office at a moment’s notice.

There are other things that the conspiracy nuts are holding up as “evidence” of something coming, and I have always written them off as kooks, but everything altogether is making me go hmmmmmm...

Something happened to me yesterday
Something I can't speak of right away
Something happened to me
Something oh so groovy
Something happened to me yesterday

He don't know if it's right or wrong
Maybe he should tell someone
He's not sure just what it was
Or if it's against the law
Something

I’ve seen copper bullets before, but I’ve never seen aluminum ones. I think they’d probably be too light to be very effective.

I think we’ll be attacked shortly after we start bombing Syria. It’ll probably be traced to Hezbollah and will serve as the casus beli for Obama’s re-election war with Iran.

Phoenix Capital has been calling for an imminent crash for two years now. I agree it will come eventually. But there’s a lot of extend and pretend left in our ruling class before that happens.

Butane for filling up lighters was like a goldmine
~~~~~~~~~~
My understanding of that part of his story was that they figured out a way to fill them with gasoline.
First of all, it hasn't been "offline for years", this is a new system being put into place. Second of all, you got to start the testing sooner or later........
It would be a whole lot easier just to keep old fashioned zippo lighters around. You can fill those up with just about anything volatile and flammable. I used to carry one filled with everclear.
Bullet weight isn't the problem with aluminum, it's the melted aluminum that clogs the barrel
