Obviously you are both secret Muslims, sent here to undermine our nation, and steal our vital bodily fluids!
Note mention destroy Thanksgiving.

Halal just means you cut their throat and let them bleed to death instead of hitting them on the head like they do cattle.
It also means an Islamic prayer is read during the process. Butterball is not denying this is happening.

This is good to know... And it’s not “too late” for some of us out there!
The last two Thanksgivings we’ve bought our turkeys from the local meat market — fresh. We’ll be calling again tomorrow morning and crossing our fingers they have an extra for us last-minute by necessity shoppers... Anyway, I will definitely think twice about buying Butterball products in the future.
I’m curious though - for those who have mentioned they will just buy a generic/store brand turkey... How do you know where the turkeys come from? Most store brands are simply regular brands with the branding removed and the store packaging used instead. For instance, at King Soopers in Colorado the store brand yogurt is DANNON yogurt only in a different container (note: I found this out about 10 years ago for King Soopers - don’t know if it is still Dannon). Now, I don’t know if it’s the same for meat, it’s just something that crossed my mind.

Butterball is overpriced. We bought a Kroger Premium turkey. Now I am doubly glad we saved our money!

The point is if you have a choice between clean meat and meat dedicated to Satan then it would be better to choose clean meat. I just want full disclosure...if Butterball is so damn proud that their turkeys are 'halal'; then put a big bright sticker on it so I can make an INFORMED choice...seems like Butterball is pulling as 'wink-wink' here...
