For weeks now, Republicans have attacked Democrats for voicing support for the Occupy Wall Street protesters, in particular faulting the DCCC for standing up for them. And the incidents of violence and excess have led some neutral commentators to predict that Dems will pay a political price if they align themselves with the movement.
So it’s interesting to see that the DCCC is sticking by Occupy Wall Street. Indeed, the DCCC is now raising money off that recent report of a GOP-connected corporate lobbying firm’s proposed smear campaign against the movement. Nancy Pelosi has authored a DCCC fundraising email that presents this as proof that Republicans are on the side of Wall Street and against Dems and the protesters:

It really would be quite a simple thing to spam to the same people the countless links between wall-street and the Democrats in congress.
They're not the sharpest tools in the shed. That's why they have no jobs and plenty of time to play the jackass "occupy" game.

Ole son, you are being naive. The left has always known how to turn such “foolishness” against conservatives. They know damn well that the Republicans (RINO’s) won’t say a word in fear they be branded as anti anything. Alinsky rules.
I predict the Dems support of OWS will persuade many of the independents/centrists to vote against the House members, simply because many centrists fall into the I-hate-corporate-America 99% bullshit, without thinking it through. Their clothes, their shoes, their cars, their A/C units, their cell-phones, their TV’s; their iPads, their utilities; their groceries, and all the other benefits they get are from corporations and small business.
They simply don’t make the connection. Their socialist unsustainable ideology is something they never think through and apparently have never been taught that socilism is a failed concept.
But they will vote for higher taxes as always against the so-called rich. Just heard to today the the top 20% pay for 90% of our federal taxes. That 20% includes those just making over a $100,O00, which is not so much in certain areas of the country. Plus, the 1% of taxpayers pay for the some 20%
If you ever want to discuss this tax issue with a liberal, ask him why he thinks a small additional tax on the rich ( over $1million) could possibly make a dent in our deficit. It’s been said that if the fedgov took every dollar from the 1%er, it would pay for about one week of our national deficit.
They are all idiots. Sometimes I wish that ALL large corporations build a coalition and just shut down for a week and see what the “Occupiers” would do without those benefits. They would cry to the heavens about corporate greed, but after time start to get a clue why they enjoyed their advance lifestyles that gave them the opportunity to whine and “coccupy” and disrupt those who are paying into the system to support their lazy hippie scum.
Without jobs, and FICA and other bennies from the evil companies, they would soon learn what real poverty is. Sad thing is, they have no idea how well they have it. I’ve seen true poverty and it’s not about having a home, TV’s, microwave ovens, running water, a car, an iPad, etc. I have become to hate these spoiled brats from our perverse education system. I hate their teachers even more for teaching their socialist viewpoints for decades now. DISBAND THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION!
