I can’t wait for eric holder to go away

The federal government is the chief enforcer of immigration laws, and while we appreciate cooperation from states, which remains important, it is clearly unconstitutional for a state to set its own immigration policy," said Attorney General Eric Holder in a release. "A patchwork of immigration laws is not the answer." It is the states that created the federal government.

Ummmmm.....isn’t it the Feds responsibility to control the borders of our country to stop illegals from coming in? Last I looked, Utah doesn’t have international borders. Therefore, it’s none of the feds business. Just sayin.

They better not send local cops to a bank robbery. It is a federal crime to rob a bank.

"The federal government is the chief enforcer of immigration laws,.."Then do your job, Holder!
To: Free ThinkerNY
Eric is so terribly stupid. If the federales are NOT enforcing a provision of the law, then no state can be said to be pre-empting their prerogatives.

And since the Feds have abdicated their responsibility in regards to immigration law this clearly means that the states can fill that role.

Article 1, Section 8 states that Congress may establish “an uniform rule for naturalization” and nothing more.
Fine. That means the feds set the rules for how someone becomes naturalized on their way to becoming a citizen. The forms that need to be filled out, classes to take, swearing-in, etc.
However, any non-citizen who is in the country WITHOUT a visa or other documentation and who is NOT going through the naturalization process is nothing but an invader. None of the states are trying to set their own rules for naturalization.
And since the feds plainly have no interest in stopping the invasion, it is up to the states themselves to call up their own militias to repel the invaders.
Time to bring this thing to a head.
