What is the down side to him quitting? I assume an appointee by Hussein would have to be approved by the Senate, and I am assuming the Senate has enough Republicans to block Hussein.

Unless he made another recess appointment like he did with the last appointee. Nonetheless, I like this guy's thinking. I hope he does it.

The GOP House has vowed to not go into recess again to prevent Obama from making recess appointments. Occasionally they can play hardball.

I will believe the Republicans can play hardball when I see it.

I like this mans courage though, although I am sure the Democrats will find a way to get their Union friends what they want.

can we help him pack his stuff? Stopping any federal bureaucracy from making more rules is a heroic act!

Under the rules, Obama would have to appoint a Republican, that is, if he follows them.

Well he has a Nov. 30th deadline - not much time. Even so I’d have a strategy meet with House and/or Senate GOP leaders to at least coordinate and see if they’ll block recess appointments.

I am assuming the Senate has enough Republicans to block Hussein.

Just like Scott Brown was the "supposed spoiler" to Obamacare, Harry Reid will find some obscure rule - or better yet change the Senate rules - so as to skirt that requirement. Reid has talked about changing the filibuster rule for sometime now. Reid triggers ‘nuclear option’ to change Senate rules, end repeat filibusters

Meaningless. Grandstanding to the ignorant.

The House of Reps does not possess "Advice and Consent".

Thanks for playing.

The Messiah will immediately put a Union-sympathetic-ass-kisser in his place; at least right now there is ONE who is not going along with the “program”.

Which Republican would Obama pick? Huntsman or Romney?

Under the rules, Obama

The messiah could care less about any rule, law, or the Constitution if it impedes his march to Marxism for America.

It looks like the House can stop the Senate from going into recess thus stopping recess appointments by the president.

Excerpt:

"This morning - under the instruction of Speaker Boehner, Leader Cantor, and Whip McCarthy - I presided over a pro forma session in the United States House of Representatives, preventing Congress from going into recess and blocking President Obama from issuing recess appointments. * * * Under Article 1, Section 5 of the Constitution, the House of Representatives can prevent the Senate from recessing by withholding its consent. Simply put: we do so by voting down, or not considering, a Senate adjournment resolution. And when we do so, we block the Administration's ability to make recess appointments."

House Blockage of Presidential Recess Appointments May Impact NLRB

Don’t just hamstring the Labor Board, eliminate it after elimiting the EPA, Education, Energy, and Homeland Security and firing everyone that works for them!
