"US Candidate Gingrich, For The Regularization of Immigration Status for Millions" (El Molino)

(ENGLISH TRANSLATION): US Presidential Candidate Newt Gingrich, Republican, For The Regularization of Immigration Status for Millions" In the Al Momento Noticias by El Molino - 11/23/2011 8:36 AM

Two things became clear after the conclusion of the eleventh televised debate of Republican candidates, that Newt Gingrich is emerging in the polls, Mitt Romney moving to, and that he understands the importance of the Latino vote in United States to reach the White House in 2012.

Last night, risking the wrath of the Tea Party rightwing who have set the tone on immigration in the debates, Gingrich took a position which he described as "humanitarian."

We reproduce his words, that rule this time there were the boos he received when Rick Perry also said many Republicans "have no heart" on the issue of immigration.

I do not understand how the party that claims to be the party of the family can take a position on immigration that destroys families who have been here a quarter century. And I'm prepared to accept criticism by saying, 'we are human to implement the law without giving them citizenship but finding a way to create no separate legal status for their families.' "

"I do not think that the people of United States going to take people who have been here a quarter century, who have children and grandchildren, who are part of the community who may have done something 25 years ago, separated from their families and drive them away.

"If you came recently, and you have no roots in this country, then you must go. But here is the point. But let's say the person has been here 25 years, has three children, two grandchildren, pays taxes, respects the law, is part of a local church - I do not think they're were are going to split up, cut and eject such a family.

"The Krieble Foundation has a magnificent red card program that says it can be legalized without being a path to citizenship. So we managed to have a country where there is no illegality, without any amnesty given automatically to anyone. "

Later Gingrich said:

"I want to tell the people, 'go home'. I want to create a border controlled. I want a guest worker program that can manage American Express, Visa or Mastercard. I want to make English the official language of government. I am willing to be rigid. But I will not pull on somebody's hair and tease them. And I can not imagine any serious person in this country who believes that we must destroy families who have been here 20 or 25 years."

Newt Gingrich has spoken in favor of some aspects of the DREAM Act, which would give citizenship to people who came to the United States without documentation of children.

Were Gingrich to get the Republican nomination, this new political perspective poses serious problems for the reelection of President Barack Obama not long ago who said his "strategy" is to get the Latino vote would only reproduce extracts from comments of the Republican candidates on immigration.

I think there can be an alternative name. How about Operation Repatriate. But it’s not the name that the illegals, special interests, traitorous business owners, and open border elites don’t like. It is the idea that we have a right to sovereignty and can close our borders that they really don’t like. But there are more voting americans than elites, special interests, and traitors. The same opposition existed in Eisenhower’s day exists today. No changes to the Constitution regarding this have been made since then. So I don’t see where there would be any problems using the same techniques now. And they were effective then.

We have a proven system. Rename it if we have to but we should use it.

The simple fact is that we currently have a “de facto” blanket amnesty in place already, and by making it official I believe there is hope the government can get what it really needs from the foreign invaders: contributions to Social Security so that Yanquis can retire, income taxes for federal & state coffers, and it would confer on the invaders the right to buy homes & cars (they’re not just let in to work, but to consume as well).

I don’t support amnesty, but I certainly don’t support the current inaction either. There is no doubt we can deport the 25 million+ that are already in this country; if we won’t do that, then let’s tax them so that they can contribute taxes for their children’s education, their fellow invaders’ welfare & food stamps, the healthcare they’ve destroyed in most areas they infest because of non-payment for treatment, etc.

It amazes and puzzles me as to how many city councils, mayors, police departments, governors, presidents, judges, congressmen and senators, have colluded in protecting these foreign invaders.

How is it possible that almost everyone elected, turns against their own citizens?

How is it possible that no one in government will collect the numbers of illegal aliens?

Newt told us in his CNN debate that they expected to give amnesty to 300,000 illegals and it turned out to be 3,000,000. But for the last 10 years we are told that we have 12,000,000 illegals even though there has never been a stoppage of border crossings, H1-B jumpers or students that overstay their visas?

“A system like Gingrich suggests is not humane: it sets up an entire class of people as non-citizens in our nation. That is wrong.”

They are already here, and set up with the freebies. Newt is proposing a system like the Germans use, where Turks who have been there for years are never granted citizenship - but they contribute to the tax base.

I don’t want amnesty, but inaction isn’t any more acceptable. Get them out, our tax them the way you do the people who currently pay for the housing, education, food stamps, etc. consumed by illegals. If “amnesty” is required for the latter, then do it.

I don’t want them here basically for the following reasons:

My biggest problems with illegals ... other than that they ARE illegal.

1. They come here to steal us blind-— they ride the US gravy train with multiple identities which “impoverished” illegals buy for several thousand dollars each. Vote-crazed candidates do not directly address this outrage—— probably b/c illegals vote several times each, using forged and faked ID’s. - “... but Perry won’t touch it with a ten foot pole since he collapsed over his in-state tuition handouts. Neither can be trusted to do what’s necessary....... cut out ALL benefits.

2. Illegals have no intention of becoming Americans. They pocket all the US benefits they can get, and want to force their culture on the rest of us. NO candidate EVER questions their loyalties........and the threat this poses to US N’tl security.

Do they really care about this country? Do they even understand this country beyond what they can GET from it. Read on.

DID PERRY MAKE A DEAL WITH LA RAZA to place Raza studies (Mexican-American studies) in Texas schools?

Raza studies have been taught in Arizona for a decade...... then they passed a law against it.... but it still goes on.

RAZA STUDIES One of the textbooks used is titled “Occupied America,” which was written by Rodolfo Acuña and includes a speech given by activist and university professor Jose Angel Gutierrez in which he says: “We have got to eliminate the gringo, and what I mean by that is if the worst comes to the worst, we have got to kill him,” (pg. 323). The book also talks about the need for Mexico to re-take seven states in the Southwestern United States.

The following rather shocking quotes are taken directly from Occupied America (pg. 167):

“Supporters would execute all White Males over age 16,” (also known as the Plan of San Diego).

“The Southwest would become a Chicano nation.”

In addition to using taxpayer funds to enforce such polarizing beliefs in Latino children in traditional public schools, the organization known as La Raza operates 100 charter schools across the country.

The following is a select list of La Raza charter schools:

-La Academia Semillas del Pueblo (Los Angeles)

-Atzlan Academy (Tucson, AZ)

-Mexicayotl Academy (Nogales, AZ)

-The Dolores Huerta Prepatory High School (Pueblo, CO)

-Academia Cesar Chavez Charter School (St. Paul, MN)

In 2005 alone, $7.9 million in taxpayer funding was given out to these charter schools in the form of U.S. Department of Education grants. These schools stress Latino culture, the Spanish language, the re-conquest of the American Southwest, the establishment of the mythical Atzlan, and even Aztec math.

Anyone who comes here legally to become a part of the United States, I welcome with open arms. To those who want to kill us, I will return the favor.

Then get them out; that is fine with me. The problem is that doing nothing has created a situation where the American taxpayer is saddled with the burden of “maintaining” these millions, to the point where Americans are all work & no breeding. The illegals are literally changing the complexion of this country. That would change if they were taxed instead of pampered with freebies paid for by American workers.

If the RATS give amnesty they will gain the that voting block of millions, if we grant "The Regularization of Immigration Status for Millions", what will the GOP gain??

IMO my tagline predicts the outcome: The DemocRATic party preys on the ignorant!

These people are here for a reason, and that is to do away with the sovereignty of countries and ALL of our politicians are complicit.

Someone, somewhere decided that this is a One World Order whether or not we agree with it or not.

Andrew Stern calls it a One World Order and so does George Soros and the United Nations.

Our elected politicians have sold us out. We are a country of open borders with an obstacle course.

Just like Europe, we have to let anyone into our country that can cross that 5 mile mark from our border. That 5 mile mark is just a game, that border wall is part of the game. If an illegal can live without fear in our country, why have any obstacles to cross?

Why are people dying to cross a desert if all they have to do is get over that damn 5 mile mark? Why do we allow women to get raped and all their possessions stolen? Why are we supporting the cartels that smuggle people into our country?

A woman gets raped and all her possessions stolen. She gets across that 5 mile mark and we pay her for having a child, give her housing, food and daycare as long as she doesn’t hook up with a man that works. Great system we have going on here.

“I thought that he would not be in favor of citizenship for these folks”

If they are given legal status they automatically become eligible to apply for citizenship.

And to be honest I don’t know how someone can justify amnesty without citizenship. Are they viewed as mere cheap labor who should not be allowed to vote? There really is no middle ground. If they stay they should have all the rights and responsibilities of a citizen so they can be assimilated. The alternative is to deport them, so they don’t become a drag to society.

There are at least 50 million ‘southern illegals’ in our country. We need to build a war and bus them back; immediately. Why are they lying????

You called me an imbecile for not thinking we could/would deport millions.

Other than sealing the borders (I back it and think it's the crucial first step), kindly tell me the after plan as you foresee it. Instead of just opining on how it should be and calling others names for being realists, I would like to hear what you think is a viable plan in today's climate.

This is an important issue, and one that Newt has the “only-right or correct” answer in order for Republicans to capture the White House. We as Republicans do not force our Religion upon others, but we do politically fight for veiwpoints and legistation that supports our faith. If we as Republicans do not create the defining language on the Issue of Immigration and resolve the current illegal crisis all the abortions in the Dem Party (about 70% of the US total) will not reverse declining populatios and will force Latino’s into the Dem Party just as other minorities and blacks.

I agree with Newt’s concept... But another question: What if Obama decides to “Pardon” illegals (some or all)? Would that not be an instant political coup d’état for Democrats?

All this discussion is a lot of NOISE. Boil it down to this.

1. If you are opposed to ANY form of legalizing illegals, what do we do about the millions of illegals already here?
Do Nothing? Deport them all? BOTH are impossible.

Somewhere in the middle is the answer. To just shout ILLEGAL, ILLEGAL, ILLEGAL, gets us NOWHERE. We just end up with the status quo. So, if you support deporting illegals, you should LOVE Newt's ideas. Under his plans, we would deport MILLIONS! Many, perhaps millions, would SELF DEPORT.

Second, well established illegals could come out of the shadows and pay for their law breaking (just being here illegally is not necessarily a crime) and no longer fear deportation (if accepted).

Illegal is a misnomer. Most illegals (not previously deported) are not committing a CRIME by being here. It is a “Violation”. They can not be sent to prison for it. Held for deportation, but not imprisoned. You should stop being so apoplectic about it. They didn't commit the equivalent of murder, it's more like a speeding ticket.

“The United States Supreme Court has held that “a deportation proceeding is a purely civil action to determine
the eligibility to remain in this country, not to punish an unlawful entry….The purpose of deportation is not to punish past transgressions, but to put an end to a continuing violation of immigration laws.”

So shouting amnesty, AMNESTY, AMNESTY, AMNESTY, and “ILLEGAL means illegal”, actually, it doesn't, gets us nowhere and is factually incorrect.

Let me clarify, Illegal isn't CRIMINAL. It's not a crime, it's a violation. Civil vs Criminal. Speeding vs robbery.
