Occupy LA Eviction is Occupy Movement's Last Stand -- Finally

COMMENTARY | The Occupy LA encampment is preparing to face an eviction notice one minute after midnight Monday. While some are sure to pack up and move on, many others are preparing to resist that planned eviction. With the Occupy Movement winding down, it appears that this will be the movement's last stand.
Occupy LA started like other parts of the movement across the U.S. It was a movement that had lofty goals of changing the way corporations work in America, without any plan on how this would be achieved. As the weeks wore on, tensions grew between police and protestors. The result has been bloody battles all over the country. Now that the Occupy Movement has been pushed against a wall, this last stand poses to be the most destructive yet.
In all honesty, the movement has failed miserably. While all of the numbers have not been crunched for Black Friday, we all realize consumerism is alive and well in the U.S. As Police prepare to clash with the crowds in Los Angeles, men and women will be signing online to find the best Cyber Monday deals.

The LA OWSers were too stupid to take up the mayor’s suggestion and lease a public building for $1 rent for a year. Their loss!
The city even offered them taxpayer subsidized office space.
