DURBAN, South Africa (AP) — Global warming already is causing suffering and conflict in Africa, from drought in Sudan and Somalia to flooding in South Africa, President Jacob Zuma said Monday, urging delegates at an international climate conference to look beyond national interests for solutions.
"For most people in the developing countries and Africa, climate change is a matter of life and death," said the South African leader as he formally opened a two-week conference with participants from more than 190 nations.
The conference is seeking ways to curb ever-rising emissions of climate-changing pollution, which scientists said last week have reached record levels of concentration in the atmosphere.
Zuma said Sudan's drought is partly responsible for tribal wars there, and that drought and famine have driven people from their homes in Somalia. Floods along the South African coast have cost people their homes and jobs, he said.
"Change and solutions are always possible. In these talks, states, parties, will need to look behind their national interests to find a solution for the common good and human benefit," he said.

It is indeed “life or death” for D-grade climate hacks who have no means of support save for government grants.
Perhaps they should use their grants to 1) learn some math, 2) learn some computer modeling, 3) learn data analysis, 4) actually produce some models which accurately predict something, oh, and take some classes on ethics.
He should focus on keeping South Africans from murdering and raping each other because they will all be dead before any "alleged" climate change affect them.
Tutu should not be allowed to be a bishop if he continues spreading those lies!
I'd say he's equal in stature as a climatologist as Al Gore. Which means they both scammers. However, I bet Tutu doesn't think it's “millions of degrees” beneath the surface of the Earth, so maybe he's a little more savvy than Gore.....
I believe that is their intent.

Money is life in politics and any fear mongering that starts with 'Climate' is simply another scheme to separate money from those who have it and spread it around.
And it's also about control. Once those regulations are in place, you have an official world wide 'pay to play' system to control, reward and punish and skim and fleece the masses.
Essentially, it's an organized crime racket wrapped in the cloak of 'saving the planet' legitimacy.
In an earlier article posted on FR, it turns out that 3rd-World countries are ^net emitters^ of GHG while industrialized nations are ^net absorbers^ of GHG.

It is indeed the intent of those that are pushing this.
As in most cases, there are the “evil” and the “deceived”.
I know several people, I’ll even say that they are “good intentioned”, that have latched onto this global warming “cause” in order to fill the “God shaped vacuum” in their hearts.
The “evil” take advantage of this drive/desire and use it to push their own agenda.

I’ve been saying that since I first heard the scam.
It’s been estimated that if the cap n’ trade taxes and other “climate change” regulations were put into place, it would cost $700 trillion.
The unbelievable cost in human misery and loss of freedoms that the AGW hoax could cause if such laws and taxes were put into play are far beyond the wildest imaginings of what the results might be if AGW was true.

what this is really about is polution created locally.
The local governments (who are corrupt) have created polution in various forms. (and been paid to look the other way). They have to clean up their local mess but have pocketed to much money.
The solution is to create a tax the USA policy to make the stupid americans pay for the clean up and allow the local politicians to pocket more corrupt money.
