President Obama's slow ride down Gallup's daily presidential job approval index has finally passed below Jimmy Carter, earning Obama the worst job approval rating of any president at this stage of his term in modern political history.

Since March, Obama's job approval rating has hovered above Carter's, considered among the 20th century's worst presidents, but today Obama's punctured Carter's dismal job approval line. On their comparison chart, Gallup put Obama's job approval rating at 43 percent compared to Carter's 51 percent.

According to Gallup, here are the job approval numbers for other presidents at this stage of their terms, a year before the re-election campaign:

-- Harry S. Truman: 54 percent.

-- Dwight Eisenhower: 78 percent.

-- Lyndon B. Johnson: 44 percent.

-- Richard M. Nixon: 50 percent.

-- Ronald Reagan: 54 percent.

-- George H.W. Bush: 52 percent.

-- Bill Clinton: 51 percent.

-- George W. Bush: 55 percent.

What's more, Gallup finds that Obama's overall job approval rating so far has averaged 49 percent. Only three former presidents have had a worse average rating at this stage: Carter, Ford, and Harry S. Truman. Only Truman won re-election in an anti-Congress campaign that Obama's team is using as a model.

Nothing. That was his legal name.

However, the letter was chosen to honor both grandfathers.

Looking at the historical approval ratings on Gallup, it's looking bad for Hussein. As they democrats kept saying for the last year, “Reagan and Clinton were lower at this point in their presidency than Obama and they went on to win...” Not so anymore, at this point in their presidency Reagan and Clinton had both recovered and were sitting in the low 50-53% range. Obama is sitting at 42% and has holding steady or trending down, and unlike Reagan and Clinton he doesn't have an improving economy to run on.

It does not matter. Obama will win reelection in 2012.

This is because the Republicans let the media pick our candidate by abandoning any candidate that gets flack. So just like Bachmann, Cain, etc... Rest assured Gingrich and Romney will get clobbered by the media and press. The Republicans will bail on them too. Thus, we will get Obama in 2012 another 4 years,

Just watch Cain. The exact same thing will happen to Gingrich and Romney. Trust me the media and press have way more crap on Gngrich and Romney, than they ever had on Cain.

Seeing how Republicans abandon their own... Today I realize Obama will get another 4 years. Now contrast that with how the Democrats rally around their candidates when in trouble.

The Republicans lose because they believe they can some how win over the media and press. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.

Yet, Obama will probably win in 2012, as the Republicans continue their circular firing squad.

We would win if we pick a conservative. Republicans seem to always want to pick a liberal Republican who will always lose. Gingrich, Romney and Perry are the liberal portion of our candidates. Bachmann, Cain, and Santorum are the conservative portion of the candidates. There is ZERO excuse for not choosing bachmann for the Republican nomination. I wish you folks would list to me. I know what I am talking about!!!!! You pick Newt.........WE WILL LOSE AND LOSE BIG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
