That’s what the NY TIMES IS SAYING. The LEFTIST SLIMES will say anything to defame Israel. Don’t believe everything you read especially from Leftists because they are pathological liars.

Non-arab journalists, photographers and supposedly pregnant women have previously carried explosive devices under their clothing when crossing the Israel/Gaza border.

Here is a realistic interpretation of what really happened: http://israelmatzav.blogspot.com/2011/11/why-lynsey-addario-had-that-invasive.html

What is a pregnant photographer doing crossing a checkpoint near Gaza? She is exposing her "unborn child" to greater danger than any X-ray could ever pose. She knew she would be X-rayed and screened and had her protest prepared.

This has all the makings of a publicity stunt.

Unless she has body guards tagging along with her she is completely insane to go into Gaza alone because it is a den of wolves. We’ve already seen what happens to female, Western journos in Egypt. Gaza is just like that and in many ways even worse.

If she is so worried about her baby why is she going into a place like that????

Which is worse? Getting x-rayed 3 times or being gang raped by a bunch of Muzzies and possibly murdered? Put THAT into perspective!

She and the NY Slimes can cry like a bunch of cry babies but do you see them talking about the reality of what it is truly like to live in that third world, Muzzie hellhole? You will never, ever see them show the Gaza Muzzies to be the blood-lusting wolves that they truly are and how they treat each other much less infidels, Jewish and non-Jewish.

I wonder why so many Freepers are asking for Israeli-style security? This is what they want?

BTW - It’s been so warm over here in NH. Doesn’t feel like Christmas yet.

Now you forced me to read the stupid Yahoo article. It says she is a New York Times Journalist -- one of four detained by pro government forced in Libya.

Take you complaints up with Yahoo and not me!

She could've very well been a pali woman, smuggling a bomb into Israel. Or maybe the Palis will contract out to the New York Times someday >>>>veg<<<<<<<<<<

Wow, thanks for posting that link. The "pregnant" woman who had been treated and cared for by the Israeli hospital for a month and 1/2 returned to blow it up! I agree publicity stunt! After all she was crossing over to Israel from GAZA.

Get her out of that part of the world-—women should not try to ‘prove’ that they can do anything a man could do—especially since she is pregnant, her responsibility is to her unborn baby——sick of this crap feelong sorry for women who don’t have common sense when carrying a baby and some nitwits cry the blues for sympathy to be extended for them

Once again - slowly. She is NOT an EMPLOYEE of NY Times Mag. Can you try to understand the difference? She's not a writer - she only takes photos. That is how she makes her living.

I also mentioned that I have personal knowledge of who she is, what she does, what her body of work is - I have some of her unpublished work at home.

I'm not just 'opining' off the top of my head when I say she's a free lancer, NOT EMPLOYED by the NYTimes mag.

I thought freepers (reduced to small letters for this thread) were smarter than to take, as gospel, every word printed in the MSM. Ah well, FR ain't what it used to be.

(an aside: Editors usually write the headline for the story - and often get it wrong. Many a writer has gnashed their teeth over having their story distorted by a headline that doesn't match or is in error...especially since the public thinks THEY are the dumb ones.)

Who cares what you say you know? Maybe she was doing it all for a publicity stunt for the New York Times?

One last thing, I said I read the article because of all your whining. The ARTICLE! However, you claim I just read the headline. You are building a strawman to smear me.

This is more the mark of a leftwing smear artist than a freeper.
